Just read that now they're saying they wont have it worked out till tomorrow night, but it looks like they wont even play till monday or tuesday night.
Which, for us, would be great. Gives the Bills a short week. And a pretty messed up one, at that.

8 people dead (at least) and a state emergency. no one is allowed to drive anywhere. BUT they will pull resources to get the bills to the airport...........kinda fucked up. meanwhile the players are leaving their families alone in the midst of this disaster.

Yeah- and no one could even get to the stadium to sign up.
There's so much snow falling that roofs are colloasping. Roads are literally impassable as the snow is still taller than the cars. They would need to remove 220,000 tons of snow to have the field. Police and all other resources are being pooled to literally save people's lives. What the fuck do you expect them to do, bring magical helicopters to melt the snow? Give me a break.
Seriously, any of you ever tried driving through 3' of wet snow? I don't care if you have a 4WD with chains- you're not going through that stuff. It's gonna take bulldozers and front end loaders to clear the roads- snowplows aren't going to cut it. They may literally have to helicopter the players out of their homes to get them to the airport.

Maybe there's some event downtown cleveland that has every thing sold out sunday night/monday - but I haven't heard of anything and I kinda doubt it.
Regardless, you have to think Cleveland was a consideration, maybe they just wanted the dome.

We got about a foot of lake effect last night. I drove 7 miles north to my mothers and she only got about 3 inches of snow. 6 feet is crazy.

You know one thing I was wondering is it possibly having to do with all the people who need to go having proper passports to enter Canada. There might be an exemption clause though to that.

I believe they don't actually need passports to go to Canada, they need passports to get back into the USA. The US government started this bullshit about everyone needing a passport to come back from Canada or Mexico just as a money raiser....nothing else.
I have had a passport. There isn't a single damn thing on it to identify you that is any different than what is on a driver's license. It is purely for revenue.

I'm not sure exactly the reasoning but either way you need one if you want to visit Canada and return to the US nowadays. Trust me, I remember going to Canada before hand through the Sioux in Michigan. Pretty much the conversation went:
"what are you guys wanting to do in Canada?"
Us: "We're just going fishing for a few days up in the wilderness."
"....okay! Welcome to Canada, have a good time!".
