I always figured that Hagel and Obama weren't meant for each other. Hagel doesn't fit with many current Repubicans either. He's a real deal combat vet that doesn't want to sent soldiers and marines into harms way without damn good reason.
I just read a NYT article that blames the "rise of ISIS " and Ebola for Hagel being forced out. Really?
