I hope the sensible people of this country regardless of skin color overcome the loud noise of a small group of extreme individuals on both sides. Especially in the media.
Someone on my facebook feed earlier was talking about preparing for a race war. It's incredible because no such tension exists for a majority of this country yet somehow we've convinced ourselves there

I posted a PDF of all of the arrests in Ferguson from the past few days. The vast majority of the people arrested were from cities other than Ferguson. Not an all inclusive example, and it maybe doesn't prove "vast" majority, but it seems pretty clear a lot of those people are from out of town just there to cause shit

Maybe I'm just missing some vital component of this discussion. What does it matter where they're from? And how do we know the arrest record isn't indicative of those agitators simply not having anywhere to run to?
