Don't really give a rip about the Wild Card.

  • So? Who wins the game: here are my choices:

Winner: Miami Dolphins They are the only ones with 3 home games left, plus they seem to have a couple of gimmes in there. While their opponents do not have the worst overall record, they are under .500.

Runnerup: Houston Texans. While they may have the worst record at 6-6 of all contestants they have the easiest schedule: 2 games agains the Jaguars. Need I say more? One tough test: Ravens they are home for

2d runnerup: Baltimore Ravens: Opponents have worst record only behind the Texans (thanks to also playing Jags)

Loser: Buffalo Bills. They must face perhaps the 3 best teams in the NFL: Broncos/Pats/Packers. and just one "breather" with the Raiders

Runnerup: Chargers. Face all teams with winning record...but 3 in division. Their opponents have the best record.

2d runnerup: Bengals. They also face all winners. Must play home and home vs. Steelers, Browns on the road, and Denver at home.

No, the plan is to repeat until we have a winner. I thought it fair to declare partial winners in Pats/Broncos/Colts. (though I did misspeak, Broncos only have a 1 game lead in their division....Colts/Pats 2 games. I will augment this by looking at:

Denver Broncos. At 9-3 a good bet for playoffs....but they only have a 1 game lead over Chargers in their division:

    home Bills 7-5

    @ Chargers 8-4

    @ Bengals 8-3-1

    home Raiders 1-11

    opponents combined record: 24-23-1

Their road is not easy but they do have a 1 game advantage.

  • Browns 11-5

    Ravens 10-6

    Steelers 10-6

    Bungles 8-7-1

I had thought that the Bengals would fall apart after the Browns beat them, but they won 3 straight. So, you are saying that NOW is the time that they fall apart.

Just out of curiosity: are you going to accept the hugs and kisses from Steeler trolls now that you pick them to beat to beat the Bengals twice?

Don't really give a rip about the Wild Card.

I give a rip about it if the Browns can make it.

Gip, I have gone through these scenarios 1,000 times, and there is not one where the Browns don't win the division. Not one. It's a lock. 11-5 and Division Champs.

No, I get that. I am only saying you chose the Steelers to beat the Bengals twice. I mean, you know some of those Steeler fans, they may turn homo for you for saying that, no? 😊
