  • Another reminder of Ray Farmer not drafting one of the many wide outs that went to teams that were already stacked! Like Green Bay taking Davanta Adams, Pittsburgh taking Martavis Bryant, Carolina and Kelvin Benjamin, Eli got his new toy Odell Beckham Jr., even Andrew Luck got another with Donte Montcrief. And Philly didn't mind letting Desean go cuz Jordan Mathews is turning into a stud.

Quarterbacks need weapons and if they were going to draft Manziel then why not draft Mike Evans for heavens sake.

I'm going to make a list of draft picks for 2015 and send them to Ray Farmer.

And he'll wipe his ass with your shitty list and throw it away.

  • Yeah I saw this headline this morning and sighed. These damn injuries! He's our main go-to for 3rd-down conversions. I was surprised when he got up after taking that shot mid-air.

That all being said yeah I hope he's ok. Kidney injury, any organ injury...not cool.

  • I bruise my liver every week with this team

    lol...

Any word on Gary Barnidge? That was a lousy cheap shot when he got his ribs speared by whoever that thug was torpedoing into the pile.

That torpedo would be #53, Nigel Bradham.

Not sure why he jumped in that air like that. He hit the ground pretty hard. Guy has really stepped up this season and stayed healthy. You got 12 games out of him, be thankful lol

Terrible choice for an "lol", Ever... very close to "fuck you" territory.

Twelve games and narry a twinge of a hammie... remember the trainer convo months ago?

  • This injury is different. We're not talking pulling a hamstring here. He was trying a leap frog to make a big play as the game was on the line and critical for playoff standings. Midair he gets hit in the side...and today is still being held in a Buffalo hospital for the severity of the kidney injury.

BTW, i put (lol) on every post, dont read too much into it! lol

    Actually you don't...

  • OK, so, actually, what is the report on him? Or is it too early?

Oh stop being overly sensitive. Austin will be fine.

    Hopefully...

"Oh stop"? You actually typed "Oh stop"?

Looks like they will try out Cris Carter's son from the CFL...

Wonder if that means they think Austin is done

Looks like he is ineligible to play until Feb., so I don't think it has anything to do with Austin's current injury, but he would be a nice add next year.

    Zombo

  • Oh, I thought I read his contact had expired and he was free to sign with anybody on Monday. Must have missed the rest!

    Yep... Last paragraph... Haha. Whoops

  • Interesting. Could use a guy of that size on this squad that can perform. Sounds like a guy Farmer would look at, why was he undrafted and never brought into any camps given his size?

Duron went to OSU at one point and was kind of an airhead, not into the whole school aspect (hard to imagine). He never seemed to work hard enough, but was highly touted coming out of high school. He's had a solid two year career in the CFL so hopefully he finally has learned how to put in the work.

Seems like a little refresher course about WRS may be in order. Current records, Carolina 3-8-1 WITH Kelvin Benjamin. NY Giants 3-9 WITH Beckham. Green bay, Steelers, Indy- stud quarterbacks- and as usual Brady is making a bunch of no names look like Pro Bowlers. Eagles- stud coach.

If you forgot, last year Gordon led the league in yards, made the Pro Bowl- and the Browns finished 4-12. BTW, Atlanta has Roddy White, Julio Jones and they'd be in last place in the AFC North.

The Cleveland Browns will be without their second-leading receiver for the remainder of the 2014 season.

The team announced Wednesday veteran wide receiver Miles Austin has been placed on injured reserve after being hospitalized with a kidney ailment Sunday night.

"Miles sustained a kidney injury in Buffalo and remains in the hospital," coach Mike Pettine explained in a statement. "Our thoughts are with him and we wish him a speedy recovery. Miles is a guy who embodies what 'Play like a Brown' means and instills that in our receiving corps."

Not great timing for our starting QB to lose his 3rd down security blanket.

Get well, Miles. See you in 2015...

  • Sucks, he's been a real diamond for us on clutch downs especially.

Why'd ya have to dive flip miles? :-0

  • Bad break. Hope he's able to come back better than ever next year.

  • Big loss.... that one will hurt.

Jordan better get his damn pads on this weekend...

  • So.....if Austin goes on IR, who do we pick up to replace him?

Here is our receiving corps now:

    Barnidge TE

    Cameron TE

    Dray TE

    Gabriel WR

    Gordon WR

    Benjamin WR

    Hawkins WR

    Marlon Moore WR

    Rodney Smith WR

    Phil Bate PS WR

Do we need to pick up another WR. If so, who?
