    1. Which other NFL team, besides the Browns, obviously do you think have the best fans?

    2. Which opposing AFC QB would you least like to see the Browns face in a playoff game, should they get there?

    3. Assuming they can Brady Hoke, who do you think the next HC of Michigan should be?

    4. The Christmas Tree (or Hannukah bush?) Real? or Artificial? And why?

    5. We are between Thanksgiving and Christmas....and for some thoughts may turn to: where can I go to get away from winter nastiness. What would be your preferred Getaway from Winter destination.

    As an OSU fan, sorry to Brady go. The next coach of Michigan should be anyone bad enough who can keep the Wolverines out of a bowl game for the next 10 years.

    Artificial- just drag it out of the basement, no muss, no fuss.

  • 3. The next head coach at Michigan should be Jim Harbaugh. He fits all the metrics and would be a great hire. Vegas also gives him the best odds right now.

    If you want to, listen to our interim ADs press conference from yesterday. It will give you an idea of what we're looking for.

    After Harbaugh, Miles might be the #2, and general thought is he would come if offered. There are some issues behind the scenes though. And our AD wants a guy that "won't cut corners" and limits the "shenanigans". That's a shot at a lot of coaches. Ex, Miss Sts Mullen who just retracted the scholarship offer from a kid 16 days before graduation. That's not the type of coach I want, and apparently he doesn't either.

    Also, we have no reason to be cheap about it. Outside of having a ton of revenue, I'm sure Stephen Ross wouldn't mind if some of his $500 million donation went to hiring a top coach.

    Harbaugh is the clear #1 choice. I hope we get him. It could be a very quick turnaround after that.

  • Michigan football is no longer relevant. They are a third tier Big Ten team. Or maybe fourth tier

    You've got Ohio State.

    Then you've got the Wisconsins, the MSUs, Iowa, Nebraska.

    You've got the other decent teams like Minnesota, Nortwestern and Penn St. ... heck, even Maryland and Rutgers are going to bowl games

    Then you ave the teams that don't matter .. Indiana, Purdue, Michigan, Illinois ... ...

    It is that fourth tier that gives the Big Ten such a bad national reputation

    Michigan, post-Appalachian St., is just another middling team

I love the real ones because of the smell, but the artificial one is easier for an old guy who should not be climbing ladders with a 10 ft ceiling to hang lights. At 67 I can still play racquetball every day, but I now stay away from high places just in case the bones are getting a little softer than in my 20's.

I know a little place off the coast of Venezuela (Morocoy National Park), but you have to get there via Aruba to avoid anything to do with the extreme high crime anywhere near Caracas.

    Well they've made two bad coaching hires in a row. Getting rid of Brady Joke was (unfortunately from an OSU perspective) a step in the right direction. However, lotsa luck overtaking the Bucs as long as Meyer is coaching them.

    I wonder if those giant fans turned to roundball today with Michigan's football season over.

    Because Michigan lost to NJIT ... that is the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

    Speaking of irrelevant, I didn't even know they had a basketball team. Strike that, I didn't even know there WAS a New Jersey Institute of Technology. And I lived in New Jersey for three years.
