  • i do not root for one player like most do on here. the organization played the qb thing right. i would rather have manziel start next year little fucker needs to get humbled and mature. our kicker is the worst. we didn't try to get another one in the off season. no wide receiver. the rookies are tearing it up across the league.

  • the sad thing is the defense's great play goes for naught....

  • If I'm a free agent of The Browns, I'd walk in a heart beat to get away from Pettine.

He chose to lose today, plain and simple.

  • Pettine blew a wonderful chance to win at home by not pulling Hoyer in the third quarter. The hometown crowd deserves better.

  • Yeah Hoyer really shit the bed. You can't blame him though, he did his best. He's not focused in the slightest bit. His head isn't there. Hoyer must be having some hard times in his personal life to play as bad as he did. What Cleveland needs is a young fresh QB who's got an arm, an attitude and a killer instinct. The funny thing is we had him the whole time. It's Johnny's turn to shit the bed.

I would fire Pettine and promote Shanahan, Mike Pettine isn't winner and has no killer instinct.

We need a coach like Chip Kelly

You would PROMOTE Shanny???? HAHA!! Great football IQ you have, and thank you for putting it in writing so everyone can see just how pathetic you are. Fanboy.

I would promote Shanahan (pro Manziel) for the coach who stuck with shitty Hoyer.

Mike Pettine's way or the highway, he'd rather lose his way than win someone else's.

Yeah, that's why most people watch sports. You know, to not identify with or show any interest in any particular player, or to have any opinions about how players stack up against each other, and certainly not to gravitate toward someone's style of play or skill set as being especially entertaining. That's exactly why they never mic guys up, or promote individual matchups. Because, that would just be, you know, weird...

There's a difference in showing interest in a particular player and cock gobbling.

If you're going to promote anyone, it would be O'Neil. You know, the coordinator who's unit is actually improving each and every week. Jeez, thought you knew more about the game. My bad.

  • For the record, I, too, called for JM after seeing BH's Q1 footwork. However...

I thought we went on to score after the Q2 overthrow of Gabe. (Whadoyaknow... we did).

    While we're fact-checking:

    - who did Kelly pull?

    - and for that matter, who did Pete Carroll pull?

  • I think most people identify with teams.....and maybe some players on said teams.....but when said players leave said teams, most fans do not follow said players or said players new teams.....

    so, yeah.....it's weird

  • Mike Pettine chose to lose, there is no other way to explain it.

He's a coward and he compromised the locker room today, it's over.

  • I remember that Stockton guy serving you all and then you banned him......like fags

There is word for guys like you....its called troll.

    Get a life bitch.

  • Calling for Pettine to be fired is assinine. Who here thought we'd have a team this good after the preseason? Nobody. Yes, he screwed up with the Hoyer decision. What you all should be looking for is if he learns from the mistake. If he does we have a good HC.

So we should continue the coaching carousel because of one bad decision? Who wants to tell me what the definition of insanity is...

Shanahan is handcuffed by Hoyer and Mike Pettine.

You are such a douche. If you followed the Browns at all you would know that Pettine took advice from the rest of the coaching staff, GM, and veteran players. Hardly "Pettine's way or the highway." Shanahan's offense of Run for 1 yd, Run for 1 yd, 8 yd incompletion by Hoyer really worked today didn't it?

  • It's easy to be a General after the battle. Pettine's decision is understandable. Hoyer had a proven track record but he flushed it all away after today's game.

He compromised the locker room by not pulling Hoyer and sucked all the air and life out of the team.

He has no BALLS and he's a coward. He had a chance and blew it.

Hoyer has a proven track record, of what? He's a bad QB cut from three different teams and was one of the worse rated QB's in the NFL.

The coach chose to lose today and that's a fireable offense.

Because they have NO CONFIDENCE in Hoyer
