Hey, this is Johnny Manziel,
I just want everybody out there to know that the loss today was not my fault! The fault lies right at the feet of that Shanahan dude. I told him to let me 'ball out' , and him and that bald head, head coach of ours said no.
The plays they called today was fucking up my shit! I told them in the fourth Qtr 'take me out and put in that Hoyer dude!' They said no because it would make that bald head dude standing there with his arms crossed (as always) look bad!
I'm Johnny Fuckin' Fotball! How can i wreck this league with this bullshit!?
I was already dealing with being called names. Yeah , that Marvin Lewis dude called me a 'midget'. Did you hear about this? Can you believe this? Raise your hand if you have ever been called a 'midget'! That's what i thought!
I think everybody has forgot that i was in a throwdown at ' the nine' last week. What yall don't know is i hurt my throwin' hand real bad.........yall believe me right?
I really don't give a shit if you believe me or not...my mom's and pop's have money ,so fuck you guys i don't need this shit!. Besides , that Jerry Jones dude told me on the qt, that i will be taking over for that Romo dude next year...... Ha, Ha, Ha!

I hope you are right I really do. I however believe someone who is going to be great could have put the team on his shoulder to show something but he didn't. It was totally pathetic. Yes I also realize the entire team was pathetic.@everlastingxxx said:

I think he was trying to do too much and was pressing. The game has to slow down for him at some point. He is still adjusting to the speed of the game. Every great QB has to go through it, he will too. More growing pains are coming as long as he continues to improve each game then we can stay positive. High draft picks next year, get him more weapons and shore up the line. A full offseason in the system and with his teammates will help.
How many fucking weapons does he need? Gordon is All Pro, Cameron is Pro Bowl and Hawkins was headed for 1,000 yards with Hoyer.
Doesn't mean shit if you are going to float passes into the middle of the field.

If you honestly believe he passed 'the eye test' today, then you need glasses. He did not have a single play where I thought, "OK, that was nice, I can see him doing more of that"... Not one.
He is not Petyon, Andrew, or Troy and never will be. He's a small, quick (but not fast) QB, that lacks NFL mechanics to excel at the NFL level. Wilson passed the eye test just days into camp and is in a completely different universe than Johnny.
We will all know a lot in 2 more weeks, because if he doesn't pass the eye test at some point in 12qtrs, then he probably never will.
-
The kid is a rookie. Give him some time.Granted he was awful today and broke
the cardinal rule in football being "never throw late across the middle" time and
time again but it was his first game.He obviously was not ready for the big stage.
Give him some time.BTW NO ONE on the Browns gave him any support. Our
overrated defense gives up 244 yards rushing, offensive line is a sieve, dropped
passes, a coach forced to call a timeout after the 2 minute warning, etc.
Johnny stunk but he is our QB for now.Coach him up.

We have to assume he's never passed the eye test in camp or practice either. Otherwise it wouldn't have taken so long to get him out there. Most likely the reason Pettine waited so long before bringing him in. That was hard to watch.

The pass Hawkins dropped was nice.

Shanny needs to drop that read action shit. If you go read action it has to be the absolute basis for your whole offense, not something you sprinkle in or you don't do it right.

So you want to shit-can the foundation of your "star" QB's award winning college game because you can't sprinkle it in?
Dalton ran an option today... once.
Dalton ran the read option last week... once... kept it for a TD... fairly long run, too.
I do notice a similar trend with those that wanted Johnny starting from the get go. Said people were very quick to point out that everything on offense was Hoyer's fault.
Now with Johnny not finding success, they have no issue saying that it wasn't all on Manziel. Which of course more level-headed people have been saying for some time.
I had not noticed that... of course...

Yes! THATS why we lost. Hawkins.

I'm not saying it's why we lost. I'm pointing to ONE good throw which d bone is saying didn't happen at all. Honestly the reading comprehension...
-
Dude cinci was all over him. He played bad there's no doubt about that. He played bad. Our defense also played badly.

That was a nice play in comparison to the rest, but honestly, I wasn't impressed with the wobbly, low velocity throw. Yes Hawk has to catch that, that's not what I'm saying, but the play in general was nothing more than what I remember seeing Colt do.... a slow, fluttery, high risk pass across his body. Some like those, I'm not one of them.

For Fuck Sake (FFS for future ref) Stop!
Now we have to get the league wrecker help? What did he not have to work with that his predecessor did the past few weeks? McDonald?
Just stop, do the "on-time" count and let your boy's next effort speak for itself. Pressure's off... now.
Besides the Cowboy's game is fixin' to start... Fuck Dem Cowboys, too...
Jack Ridley: Pull that stuff on flight test, it's all over for him. I say he screwed the pooch, partner. Plain and simple.
Chuck Yeager: Yeah, well, sometimes you get a pooch that can't be screwed, ya know?
Tour: But, Chuck, this one was screwed... royally.

Are you pleased he was so bad then? i wonder sometimes if people on here actually want us to succeed

Did you say Johnny will be great? Frankly, today I saw Brandon Wee-Done out there- on a bad day.

No and shit no I'm not happy Manziel laid a mega-turd in his first start. I'll break it down elsewhere.

didn't lose the game? Sure, but he had a huge part in why the Browns didn't win. Doubtful Hoyer or anyone else could have done much worse.

Well hardy har-har. Not gonna single you out- because the rest of the Manzealots just got a mega dose of humble pie, and are nowhere to be seen right about now- He's JFF- gonna get around 4 TDs and 100 rushing yards. Welcome to the Big Boy league Johnny- go have a Snickers or two.

Johnny Frodo was just too tired to play a good game today after that long trip to Mordor.
That had to be the 2nd most miserable thing to happen to him in his life next to the tall guy that broke wind in front of him in that elevator.
Seriously though.
All I heard on "the other board" from day 1 was people wishing Hoyer to fail or get hurt so they could see Johnny play.
Well, they got their wish and are getting the team, as fans, they deserve. When you're WINNING GAMES and saying you want to see your starting qb go down with an injury you don't deserve a winner.
I'm afraid there are waaay too many Browns fans that had the "Let Hoyer get hurt or stink it up so we can see Johnny" mentality, now they're all getting what they wanted.
Too bad, this had been the first season in 20 years I've enjoyed, at least the first half...

In Manziels defense Peyton Manning would have gotten pin holed out there today. Look Johnny made a lot of bad throws not under duress...but the whole game he was running for his life. Carlos Dunlap invited himself to virtually ever handoff party between Manziel and our RB's. Fucking ridiculous o line.
-
We've got seriously the worst fans ever. Myself included. We turn on people so goddamn quickly. I think this game showed Hoyer was far from failing on his own. That being said at least Johnny didn't throw everyone else under the bus at his post game presser.

Hey MANZIEL SUCKS, MANZIEL SUCKS!!!! Happy now? Just kidding.

I don't think there are any excuses.

The issues of this offense go beyond the QB position. However they were very much highlighted for the worse with Mr Football under center.
See below.

RE: Manning- I doubt it. So who was making the line calls and check offs? We don't know. If Johnny could see (twice at least ) he had an uncounted for defender ready to kill him, and didn't change the play- well that's on him.
