  • Pettine wanted a CB, well we got one, and he sucks

Haslam wanted Johnny, and he sucks.

Can we let the GM make the picks?

Why is the GM here if he is going to cow down to whoever?

  • c'mon man.

    you're better than this.

the first year flippin burgers at hardees they were going to fire you and LOOK!.......you bounced back lovely.

now you are wearing the burger-flipper of the month badge.

    well done son.

  • Thanks for starting such an original thread, I'm sure it won't be a rehash of 4 other bitch-fest threads on the board...

A lot of teams wanted Gilbert, he was the highest rated CB for a reason: he's 6'0" 200 lbs and runs a 4.37 40, oh yeah lets not forget the ball skills. How was the FO supposed to know that he wouldn't be willing to prepare at an NFL level?

I'm sure his college coaching staff told every NFL team he was a god amongst men and smelled of freshly ground cinnamon. Hell, he had 7 INTs in 11 games his senior year. He didn't sit down to his interviews and say "I won't work hard enough to be effective in the NFL"

But the main thing, above all of that is that he is A MOTHER FUCKING ROOKIE!!!

For all we know he will respond positively to the kick in the ass he got from Dansby and co. I swear to christ you kids sit around masturbating using your own tears as lube while you post these repetitive crybaby threads....Jesus

  • You can use tears?

Thanks, but the crybabies won't listen. That's why I seldom respond to these threads except to thank someone for a down to earth, common sense reply such as yours.

  • Regardless of all the crying, it was a 2 for 1. The jury is still out on what the rook does down the line and we don't even know who #2 is yet. This is far from being a decisive "bad" 1st pick. You'd think this board was full of Cassandras (google it) the way they carry one with their "foresight".

  • In answer to the title question...

    No, I don't think so.

  • Thank you,and well said. I expect and hope for our top rookies to do a 180 next year.
