  • Well, if the Browns are considering a change at OC, then Trestman may be one to watch.

I know Shanny was chosen because of limited pickins, so do we make a change or just stick with him for continuity?

I really do not want another scheme change on Offense, but...

... a Trestman/McCown reunion in CLE could be interesting.

  • Michigan is the big winner here. They now have hope in beating my beloved Ohio State. As for the 49ers, they have money and pedigree to get just about anyone they want. So why would they want Shanahanigan? My bet is they take Quinn from Seattle.

  • I curious to see who an established team like the 49ers goes after in a head coach, their process of hiring him and the protocol they use.

Should be an interesting comparison to how things have been handled in Cleveland for years.

  • Trestman is our next OC bank it

  • Doug Marrone has left the Bills now leaving them without a HC.

    New ownership, new guys.

Marrone actually had a good season there, I didn't expect them to have 9 wins.

I'd take him or Trestman as OC over Shanny.

I think he wanted to go to a team with a QB and a 1st round draft pick.

  • Word is that he will head back to the Jets. He was their O-Line coach for a few years.

  • I don't get it. I'll take consistent winning records and playoff runs.

You roll the dice with the next coach.

I remember Trestman's first stint here. They can keep him (whoever gets him)

  • I have no idea why they would consider him in SF.

But I hope he lands it.

    Kaepernick, Hyde, and Pistol.

  • thought his dad had an interview with them?

  • It's almost weird going into a second year with the same FO + coaching staff....like some strange advantage that I dont remember us having in a long while.....

Is continuity a new word we can soon apply to the Browns?....

Um, that was 25 years ago....maybe he's learned a lil something since then?.....possibly?

Yea, one would think, but it sure didn't show this year.

  • Shurmur interviewed in Oakland?

    Whoa...slow down there! It's only year 2! 😉

To your point, that playoff game against Denver, where Mack had a big run early only to sit most of the rest of the game was baffling. Especially when Trestman put Tim Manoa in as RB/FB. WTF?
