i've been following the browns since 1962...1 championship....not even 1 superbowl appearance..thats pathetic...i don't care if you are young or old...its pathetic..1 playoff appearance since 99....and we get embarrased by blowing a 17 pt second half lead against the steelers...who we lost to 3x that yr including that playoff game...what a joke...can't get a good coach here...owner sucks...all the free agents we get have about 1-2 yrs left in the ol gastank, if that...they are just here to collect a paycheck at the expense of the poor ol mopes that attend the games..we hit on some draft picks but the the bad ones really outweigh the good ones by a mile..so here we are, still no qb...no recievers, mediocre running backs, decent ol unless someone good goes down, then it is horrible...thats because we don't know how to draft depth...dl sucks, we have no impact players ala dumervil and suggs and many others in the league..shit, we can't even put pressure on the qb let alone sack them...the special teams suck..no ko or punt returner...the field goal kicker is horrible, and we are in a division full of playoff teams getting even better...boy, the future looks great doesn't it...hehehehehheeeeee

You old timers can at least enjoy your memories of all the Browns Negro-league championships from back in the 60s and the Dawg Pound of the 80s and 90s, but for those fans like myself who were born in the color TV era, its fucking frustrating to watch a team who consistently fail year after year without anything to show for it. I would stop watching football before I stopped rooting for the Browns, but it'd be nice if they could get their shit together and at least give us younger fans something to hang our hat on, like a playoff appearance or something.

Excellent point Ghoolie. I have always said that the only two championships that matter are the last one and the next one. All others are history, be it the title won by the Akron Pros in 1920 or the 2012 title won by Baltimore.
And for everyones information, of the 32 NFL teams, 15 have never won a Super Bowl. So its not like the Browns are in exclusive company never having won one.
