Free Agent QB class

Here are the 2015 Free Agent QBs......important because in my opinion, Brian Hoyer, being on this list will not be back....so the Browns have to pick someone else off this list:

QB Ryan Lindley ARI 26 R
QB T.J. Yates ATL 28
QB Tyrod Taylor BAL 26
QB Joe Webb CAR 29
QB Jimmy Clausen CHI 28

QB Kellen Moore DET 26 R
QB Dan Orlovsky DET 32
QB Matt Flynn GB 30

QB Michael Vick NYJ 35
QB Mark Sanchez PHI 29
QB Tarvaris Jackson SEA 32
QB Terrelle Pryor SEA 26

My choices: Either Jake Locker or Austin Davis. Jake Locker was considered potential #1 overall talent at one point. I think he lost his way in Titty land, but I think he could be one of those guys that could thrive in a new location/system.
The other is Austin Davis. I liked him coming out of College.
I don't know that either could be THE guy....the long term solution. But either could be a better choice than keepin BH or in turning the keys of the team over to JFF.

Isn't Locker injury prone? I could be completely off base.

Maybe, and it has probably held him back. But of all the guys available he seems the sort that could turn his career around and become a really solid QB. I won't say Kurt Warner like....but maybe he could be, you know, Kurt Warner like.

I thought Locker would perform well in Shanny's offense and Sachize can get you through a season, but it all depends on the OC now, we are at ground zero offensively.

The place to look is at the teams that are currently in the playoffs. While you won't take their OCs for a lateral move, you could promote a top notch QB coach....or "assistant OC" if such exists.

Something wrong with all these guys, thats why it's hard to pick.......but you never know....may be gold in them hills yet!
Id probably take a look at Locker, Mallet and maybe Sanchez....all have flashed and are at the right age to mature....so maybe

I've never been impressed with Dirtied Sanchez

Mallet has a cannon, and hasn't had a chance to prove much which makes him more interesting than other names.
Locker has a repeated injury history, and isn't that good when he's healthy either.
Anyway, no favorites on this list.
I see Sanchez, Davis, Mallet, Hoyer, and Locker as about equal quality.
Give any of them good pass protection and a run game and they'll win games for you.

Mallet-best long term bet if the Browns are considering being rid of the circus.

Maybe Michael Vick will make Mark O and Mik's dreams come true

Wow Wow guys. We have Johnny football. We have been waiting been waiting for some one to change our luck at the qb position. We can wait longer for him to start wrecking this league.

now i know you're 15.

TJ Yates is an interesting name. I remember him being the 3rd QB for Houston and being pressed into action late in the season. If memory serves, he did quite well.
-
He did good for a back up. Nothing spectacular. Equal to Hoyer
