Any reason why the Browns aren't being interested with any of these free agents?

Broncos sign receiver Jabar Gaffney and safety Reynaldo Hill.
I was hoping the Browns would sign Gaffney. McDaniels & the Broncos seem to be making smart, cheap moves.

adam schefter just reported on the air (hence no link) that the broncos just signed jabar gaffney and renaldo hill (safety). i know both deals are the same in years and money and that they're for $10 mil each with $3 mil guaranteed, but i can't remember if they're two or three-year deals.
edit: dammit. i need to type faster. also, they're four-year deals.

I honestly didn't expect any signings today, or hell, this weekend. But its kinda sad we aren't even hearing news of any visits

the jets upped their offer to bart scott, so he's leaving baltimore for new york's six-year, $48 million deal. nothing on signing bonus yet.
edit: dammit, again. beat me to the punch.

the vikings resigned jim kleinsasser, who would've been a great addition for us. his deal is for three years.

Is there anyone the Donkeys aren't signing or, at the very least, linked to signing?
The Denver Broncos are busy reconstructing the team with a wild first day in free agency.
The team is in the final stages of signing safety Renaldo Hill from Miami and receiver Jabar Gaffney from New England. The contracts are not done yet, but there aren't expected to be any hang-ups in finalizing the deals.
The San Francisco Chronicle has reported that the team has agreed to terms with Philadelphia safety Brian Dawkins and that a press conference will be held Saturday. However, a source close to the situation said no press conference has been set. Dawkins could be headed to Denver but the deal is not done yet.
Still, it is clear that the Broncos are working hard at the beginning of the Josh McDaniels era. The team has already signed running backs Correll Buckhalter and J.J. Arrington and long-snapper Lonie Paxton. The team is also planning to visit with Cleveland linebacker Andra Davis who would fit in the team's new 3-4 system.
Via here.

file under somewhere between insanity and desperation: the broncos are close to signing andra davis.
edit: one minute late, again. this is quickly becoming laughable.

brown's contract is five years, $37.5 mil, $20 mil in guarantees.

The Bills signed Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Now, they have a Yale-educated head coach and QB's from Stanford and Harvard.

Berkeley's no academic slouch, but I doubt Marshawn Lynch actually went to class.

After signing Colin Cole, the Seahawks are likely out of the running for B.J. Raji. He should be there at #5, though I doubt we'll end up taking him.
