  • What do you want him to do, sit buddha style outside the training facility waiting for our new Offensive Coordinator?

    Yes . . .

Lot less chance of him breaking his legs, than careening down a snow covered mountain with wooden planks strapped to his feet.

Browns usually give a QB what a season and a half before declaring a bust? But JF is given a whole game and a half. Sounds like the Browns are progressing to me. 😆

Next QB should be given a quarter and a half with a bus ticket attached.LOL 😛

Not saying that Ag. But looking at those stills on BR, Johnny has a world of learning to do on how to recognize how a play is set up. It hearkens back to one of the pre-draft complaints- shuffle around, and then take off. The screen was set up perfectly to Hawkins- and JF flat out blew the play.

oh goodie.....now, everytime JFF goes somewhere, we will get reports.....

    Today....He's in Aspen....YAY!

Tomorrow?....who knows?.....can't wait to hear though....

I've always liked Vail better, but Aspen is more Johnny's style. He probably won't hit Alta, Snowbird, or Park City in Utah, seeing Mormons don't like dem demons dat drink likker.

And on that play you don't think JF was taught that if he sees JG in single coverage with no recognizable deep cover he was to automatically go to JG on the slant?

I think that is exactly what he read, but the quick slant was cut off immediately from a well disguised inside cover. They lured him into the automatic "read" and cut it off which blew up both that and the screen which became unavailable as soon as he looked to go to JG instead.

A delay in the snap might have tipped him off to what the safety was really doing, but that takes a player who has a lot more pro experience.

Well, If I was him I would say 'fuck you buddy'.

  • NHLer Johnny Gadreau, all 5'6" 150 lbs. of him wants to trademark the name "Johnny Hockey" in the US and Canada.

    http://espn.go.com/nhl/story/_/id/12165166/johnny-gaudreau-calgary-flames-seeks-patent-trademark-johnny-hockey

But Per Barry Melrose: "the difference between Johnny Hockey and Johnny Football is that Johnny Hockey can play"

  • Too small. He'll be killed by those cross checks. 🥷

  • johnny bullhockey. A lot like Manziel so far.

He is in the running for the hockey version of "Rookie of the Year".....so he must be doing OK.

  • Fuck hockey.

  • or Johnny Fucking Hockey........or pucking hockey?....whatever...

  • Hockey is cool.......after all, they play on ice.

    (see rimshot above)

  • Johnny-Hocka-tooey!

there are several short guys who have had long, productive careers in the NHL. Martin St. Louis is still a beast and he'll be 40 in June.

  • Here is a fairly insightful article that just popped up....long, but good.....sounds like his teammates(and maybe the fo) are leaking their feelings.....another well crafted message to JFF, me thinks....

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12216266/cleveland-browns-quarterback-johnny-manziel-struggled-commitment-preparation-sources-said

    Last line made me laugh....

"What Johnny has to understand is [if] he has another year like he just had, he's not going to be famous anymore," one NFL team exec said. "LeBron James is going to lose his number."

  • From what we have seen on and off the field, he has about a 90% of being a bust.

I hope I'm wrong, and he turns into Drew Brees. I just don't see it EVER happening

  • Yep...well I feel like just this week the Browns are starting to separate themselves or publicly sending johnny a message....or both....

Flippo......."we dont even know if our QB is on the team"

Farmer...."we will leave no stone unturned......1st IS an option...."Talk is cheap"....etc

    Pettine...."muddy at best"...

and now, all of a sudden, team mates and "inside sources" talking details about Johnny.....hmmmm...

They have been saying this stuff since he was drafted. Jimmy told him to act like a backup.

Johnny doesn't seem to care . And that is not good.

  • Interesting article. I would like to see Manziel succeed but my priority is wanting the Browns to succeed. Mudfly posted something earlier and maybe it could be the case some other NFL team did not think JM got a fair chance here and would want to trade for him? If they could make a trade for him I would do it.

  • "During the draft process, not one person interviewed by the team said he was going to grow up," said one source directly involved in the drafting of Manziel. "You can't blame Johnny. This is who he is. The team knew that."

That just makes me all warm and fuzzy and filled with confidence going into May's draft. Two picks in the 1st round............. What could possibly go wrong?
