For all of you who don't think Russell Wilson is "elite"
-
Wilson is a good QB. His defense and RB are elite. Helps to be able to hand the ball off 30+ times a game.
Stats are wonderful and such, but this is one of those scenario's where my eyes can separate numbers from fiction.

Probably, he just like to suck the dick of flavor of the week. That is why his input on anything is complete shit.

RB is not ever elite by himself. The Seahawks OL is elite.. which has great benefit in setting the pocket and blitz pickup as well as allowing the mediocre WR's to run themselves open.
That's exactly what the Browns OL will be able to do once we get a QB.
Cardale 2016!
-
He's most definitely a franchise level guy no matter how you slice it. He had a rough game against the Packers but that absolutely the worst game of his career too. Of course it helps to have the best defense in football and a solid run game but he can also spin it out there.

Actually the Hawks Oline is rather mediocre. They get a huge boost and benefit by using the read option looks. The one stat I will say is skewed is QB/RB rushes from under center and the read.

You should try your hand at my trivia.

Elite talent, maybe, maybe not,
Elite winner FOR SURE,
-
Sorry but attributing wins and losses to 1 individual is bullshit. Brady and now Wilson have benefited greatly from top defenses to begin their careers. They certainly have played well, but can't get all the credit..
-
Nahh, the elite QBs are (in any order) Brady, Manning and Rodgers.
You have someone like Brees who's a notch below.
And the Lucks, Roethlisbergers and Wilsons two under elite.
-
He's a good QB, I'll wait to say he's elite. Putting Wilson in Tampa Bay would be much different than putting Rodgers in. I would have to see him put in more difficult situation than Seattle
-
they've benefitted from each other. (wilson and seattle).
he IS the example i keep talking about. the last piece of the puzzle guy. who ever is the GM in seattle should be given an award because they did it right. they built both LOS players into solid lines and added above average players at key positions while finishing with a under-rated beast RB and a rookie game manager. the packers shut wilson down to the effect where he would have probably been the worse rated QB in post season play in history.....
then somoene said 'prevent' on the D sideline and the game was over.

LOL Got me there!
I hope whatever city you're in today gets engulfed by a chemical plant fire.
You are one unstable dude.
If it was possible to mix PoG and WW, you might end up with a semi normal person.

... but I shudder at thinking of the downside should the experiment go wrong.

I agree... franchise is the word for Wilson, not elite... at least not yet.
What makes Russell special among current franchise QBs is his smart use of his mobility.

Fracnhise, like Flacco - right situation, Superbowl win. Wrong situation, bad times.

Always smart with the football, will always use his feet before a forced play. Watched 3 games at NC State and he got coached up at Wisconsin, No way Elite status yet. He fits the Joe Thomas Elite as a Teammate..

lol... Well I find that the majority of the time I not only understand, but actually agree with the majority of the content of the majority of gumby's posts.
Should I worry?
