No, all of them have been named: Morton, Warner, Peyton.

But Morrall is a good guess. He started SBIII for the Colts....but was replaced by Johnny U at halftime. Then he....and not Griese actually guided the Dolphins through most of their undefeated 1972 season....plus the first round of playoffs. But Griese was brought back to play the SB after he healed up.

Halftime Report: Here are the questions that have not been answered yet. Perhaps Z can come in in a mop up role.

          1. A. Besides the Pats and Steelers, what other team is tied for playing in the most Super Bowls?

4.C. By how many points would the Patriots have to beat the Seahawks by to "break even" in terms of point differential in all Super Bowl games?

          6. Who holds the record for the most career sacks in the Super Bowl?

          7. What QB had the highest rating in a Super Bowl game?

          8. What QB has the record for most pass completions in a Super Bowl game

1.A. Including this upcoming game, which teams have played in the most Super Bowls?

                      B. Which team has lost the most Super Bowls?

2.A. Name the 9 teams that have played in a Super Bowl and have never won one.

                      Craig Morton, Cowboys and Broncos

                      Kurt Warner, Rams and Cardinals

                      Peyton Manning, Colts and Broncos

4 A. What team has the largest positive point differential in all the Super Bowl games it has played?

The 49ers are a + 96 pts. in all their Super Bowl games. (Cowboys + 89)

                      B. What team has the largest negative point differential in all the SB games it has played?

The Denver Broncos are -126 pts. They have been smoked badly several times, including last year.

                      C. The New England Patriots are not the answer to either of the above questions....but they do have a negative point differential in all the SB games they have played. By what margin of victory (with a certain margin of error) would the Patriots have to win by Sunday to "break even" in terms of total points scored in all Super Bowl games?

The Pats need to beat the Seahawks by 48 points to break even. They are currently 3-4 in SB games....but their wins have all been very close, but they have lost big a couple of times....particularly to the 1985 Bears

                      5. Name those quarterbacks who: A. Won a Heisman Trophy and B. Started and won a Super Bowl game.

Only two qualify: Roger Staubach and Jim Plunkett. In fact, these are the only two Heisman Trophy winning QBs to ever start the SB....win or lose.

                      6. Who holds the record for most sacks in his career in Super Bowl games?

LC Greenwood with 5 career sacks

                      7. What QB had the highest rated passing game in SB history?

Phil Simms with a 150.92 rating in the one game he played in.

                      8. What QB had the most pass completions in a single SB game?

Peyton Manning last year had 34 completions.

                      9. What QB had the most passing yards in a SB game?

Kurt Warner in SB 34 had 414 yards.

                      10. What QB had the longest pass completion in a SB game?

Jake Delhomme 85 yards to Muhsin Muhammed

                      11. Who holds the record for most rushing TDs in a career in SB games?

                      Emmit Smith 5 rushing TDs

                      12. Who holds the record for most receiving TDs in a career in SB games?

Jerry Rice with 8 TDs.....the guy closest to him has only 3

                      13. Who holds the record for the longest return of a fumble in SB game?

Leon Lett.....64 yards.....but his hotdogging it cost him a TD.

                      14. No team has ever been shut out in a Super Bowl game...but which team scored the fewest points in a Super Bowl game?

Miami in SB 6 only scored 3 points.

                      15. What is the common thread associated with all of these Super Bowl games: 5, 23, 34, 36, 38, 42, 43?

All games that were decided in the last minute of the game. E.g #5 was the Jim O'Brien FG as time ran out. #23 was Joe Montana to John Taylor TD to beat Bengals. The two Pats wins where Adam Vinatieri hit game ending FGs. The "One Yard Short" game, Rams over Titans. Both Giants wins over the Pats. The Steelers over Cards TD pass to Santonio Holmes game.
