American Sniper?

Heard nothing but bad things about this, being the worst type of pro-american propaganda, distorting the (very recent) history by showing the US as a) the only people involved and completely faultless for the operation, while portraying every Iraqi as a terrorist.

Anyone actually seen it?

Will post my review today.

Loved it and not prone to being apologetic to those who are of the anti war ilk,

First watch it, then you will see it was a story of the work of this particularly gifted / skilled Navy Seal .

Chris Kyle's love of country, service then real struggle coming home.

Anyone who believes this film to be anything but a depiction of what our sericemen /women went through should have his / her

conscience checked for being too seared by what is currently being fed by the media and leftist elite in DC....

and also leaving the country is an option too?

Westside Steve

Yeah I think bitching about it from a political angle is way off target. Just the story of a man and his commitment to protecting his guys.

Best movie in recent history. As proven by box office results.

Oh I'm sorry American moviegoers are supposed to pay to see a liberal guilt fest that portrays al qaeda as misunderstood and American soldiers as evil hate mongers?

FairHooker11

sample - McClennen asserted that American Sniper and the Republican party share a “combination of delusion and aggressive violence”; that when Chris Kyle (played by Bradley Cooper) “zero[es] in on a pinpointed target…we are reminded of the ways that such a narrow, aggressive vision is itself a metaphor for GOP beliefs”; and that the film’s director, Clint Eastwood, “represents a dark, disturbing feature of the GOP mind-set.”

Great movie! Quietest theater I have ever walked out of. I broke down at the end myself.

BaconHound

Very good movie, could've done a better job of really peeling away at the layers of the main character as opposed to portraying a modern day King Arthur.

Good movie. I stink its a true story.
