this HAS to be bullshit, Farmer knows better than to pull shit like that. It couldn't have been anyone "consequential" in the FO texting Shanahan. They only person I may see as dumb enough to do that is actually Haslem cause he isn't a football guy. I hate to think Farmer has to take one cause the owner didn't know the rules. If Haslem was doing that he should own up to it and say "my bad" I was a dumbass instead of throwing his GM out there cause that would really hurt the team. The GM being a dumbass is far worse to the teams ability to bring in talent than if it was the owner....ie jerry jones.

And forfeiting draft picks cause someone far less qualified than SHanahan was texting "suggestions", which Shanahan duly ignored, on plays to run is ridiculous. If those texts included some form of intelligence on the other team gleaned from watching the broadcasts...well then I understand. But saying hey Kyle why don't ya run it off tackle this next play is not a draft forfeiting act.

I would rather have an owner who hires good people and lets them do their jobs but I also would rather have an owner like Haslam who is driven to win over a complacent owner. Haslam is an improvement over Randy Lerner. His downfall seems to be he is too much hands on and needs to back off. He is still a new owner. He has time to learn.

I admit I don't follow this like some here but I read from people beyond my pay grade that Farmer is a good GM and I tend to agree with them. You have look at the draft in total last year as well as some of the undrafted free agents we have gotten.

I doubt anything severe comes of this. Suspension and a small fine. A draft pick would be taking this way to far and this in no way effected on field performance.

Now if you secretly tape your oppositions hand signals or take air out of a football, that's a different story. Even if there is a forfeited pick, no way the NFL makes it a 1st rounder.

What we don't like are negative assholes like you that pile on every time something is posted. You are far more negative to our team than any of the Stooler, Ratbird or Bills fans that show up here from time to time. As for the topic in general if it really happened I can see them suspending staff members. What ticks me off is the loss of picks that directly impacts us as PAYING FANS. I say fine the shit out of the FO and suspend whoever but leave our picks alone.

You know what else doesn't work? Churning the organization every year. Haslam's such a terrible owner- he's sunk tens of million$$$ of his own money into stadium improvements. If you haven't been down this year- I sort of doubt it since all you want to do is bitch how terrible we are- those new scoreboards are pretty awesome.
