Hey guys ! Hope you doin well first. Before we hit free agency i wanted to share with you what I hope the Browns will do come march. And i try to do something really realistic here. I'm not gon say "sign Ndamukong Suh and Dez Bryant..." No.

I did some sort of ranking of what the Browns could realisticaly do and what i feel would be a great free angency period. Also this is only the most important moves to make. Let's remember that they have approximely 40 million to spend.

    1) CUT JOHNNY MANZIEL AND JOSH GORDON

This is the top priority here. Stop being the laughing stock of the nff. This team is loaded with losers. Get em out of here. NOW

    2) Resign Tashaun Gipson, 5 years, $35 million

The best player on my list. He is a huge part of our D and our futur. Young star.

    3) Sign Damon Harrison, 4 years, $16 million

Underated nose tackle who was extremely productive in New York. Connection with Mike Pettine.

    4) Sign Bryan Bulaga, 4 years, $28 million

The best right tackle in the NFL. This would be our biggest acquisition. Would tremendously solidify our o-line and could take JT's job down the road.

    5) Trade for Mike Glennon

I like him. I has been soso thus far but he is only been there for 2 years. I still like his potential.

    6) Resign Miles Austin, 1 year, $1 million

He is still productive but more importantly he is a true pro on and off and a real leader who will be a great teacher for the young guys.

Let me know what would be for you a great free agency

    Stay strong Cleveland

I like your thinking - except #1. Too early on JM, but also don't depend on him. So we need to add something to Shaw/Manziel - Mayberry it's Glennon or Hoyer or another veteran or a draft pick. Could Manziel turn his life around? The HOF is full of them. As for Gordon, we could still get a draft pick for him. Costs us nothing right now.

What about Cameron? Worth a franchise tag for one more year?

I would move on. He obviously doesn't want to be here anymore and who can blame him. But i wouldn't have a problem if they tag him.

  • 1. No and no...

    2. Yes.

    3. I don't know him.

    4. Shores up our OTs at a higher price than is necessary, but we're still thin in the interior.

    5. Glennon's price should have just jumped.. and I wouldn't pay it.

    6. Yes.

  • #1. JM--Just hope the kid gets the help he needs and forget the player for now. Watch what Hoyer does first. Gordon-- Only hope the player admits HE needs help and stops blaming everything else. FREE and not there till 2016 Draft to try to get 6th or 7th round pick. My guess he does not make it that far, but that is up to Josh, till then Ignore the noise.#2. Gipson loves playing with Whitner and Haden and you pay Gibson under both of them. 3,4,5-- TE Julius Thomas at Denver has been playing for nothing. If not Denver why not us, if Knee is good ,he is going to get paid, Finally. We need a nasty on this D. Suh will stay as a Lion but I would look at his pal at less cost FA Nick Fairley and or Greg Hardy at Carolina to clarify the other needs in the Draft.#6. Miles last chance at a money contract , I believe he will be like Hoyer and knowing our needs at both positions, demand to get overpaid. I say nay nay, Good young talent threw out the draft in WR. No Need to overpay Miles or Hoyer period!!

  • 1) Yes and No

    2) No franchise tag

    3) Don't know him either

    4) Draft or find a cheaper option

    5) No

    6) 1 year $1 million, I guess

  • Resign Jordan Cameron or Franchise him and make a team give us 2 first round picks for him.

    Resign Rubin and Sheard.

    Resign Skrine and Gipson.

Keep our own, add a piece or two if possible, but continue to build this thing... we are close.

Never going to happen with Cameron. The tag but most especially the 1st round picks.

No thank you to Rub. He's been a hell of a player, professional and teammate but he is in the twilight of his career. Sheard would be nice to have back. Likewise Buster and I'm sure Gipson will have his deal soon.

Hindsight - big props to Horton. I remember wondering just how shitty our safety situation would be with either Bademosi or Gipson 2 years ago. I don't think anyone expected Tashaun to grow this fast.

Interesting article with that angle on Cam... worst case is we get another year for $8.27MM. Best case the 2 firsts, but is not realistic.

Gip's the one to pay to keep.

Bear in mind this is a highlight.

  • Harrison is a RFA that will likely get a first or second round tender.

  • Harrison wasn't drafted?

wow. Apparently signed as a fa after the draft....

    No reason to cut Gordon

This is why this is a bad organisation. Why sticking with this dude ? I mean really ? He had a thousand of chances, this team always had his back but STILL he's a freaking idiot. The letter is the cherry on the cake. He doesn't get it.

I know he won't be able to be at the facilities, he will nothing to do the team blablabla... But he will always be here. We will always look forward to him playing again for us if we suck. I say no.

Get him outta here now and turn the page.

The Browns are not a bad organization. Don't be an ass.

The Browns were in contention....got some key injuries and faltered.

The Browns are 2-3 players away from being very strong.......one of which....naturally, is a franchise QB.

Unfortunately the Jets have plenty of cap space to sign him, otherwise I'd love to take a run at Harrison.

If Harrison gets a second round tender, I'd match that in a heart beat.

Me too....he'd be a nice addition and real positive step toward stopping the run.....
