Clearly designed to give an edge to the Browns in terms of which Ohio team holds the heartstrings of Ohio's second largest market. The Browns brass wants C-bus to be a Brownstown, not a Bengalsburg. Probably a good move. I rarely if ever get to TC so it is not a real problem for me, though it they want a football town as their training camp base, maybe they should move it to Canton-Massillon.
2. This question comes from another source: Who is the one Cleveland area athlete (it could be Browns, Indians, Cavs etc. etc.) that was just not given enough love by Cleveland fans/front office whomever such that you regret not having done so.
Hard to narrow down. I will give a few in each sport:
Baseball: Gaylord Perry, Bert Blyleven, Dennis Eckersly should never have been allowed to leave town. They all had about a decade long productive balance of their careers after leaving here.....and should have never been allowed to leave. But that was the good old days when the Indians ran on a shoestring. Also: Manny Ramirez should never have left here. Despite going other places and winning titles, his comfort zone was here.
Football: These Hall of Famers were somehow packed off out of here: Doug Atkins, Henry Jordan, Willie Davis, Dick LeBeau, Len Dawson. The Browns let them all go. Go figure.
Basketball: Lenny Wilkins? George Karl? Ron Harper?
3. Speaking of the Indians, an ESPN poll ranked the Indians as the 4th best team in major league baseball. Are you buying it?
I lived through most of the Indians 41 year post season drought......and don't talk to me about 1997 and 2007. I am ever the pessimist. I will believe that they are this good when they prove they are this good....and not before.

FYI there are a ton of acts from here, more than you probably are aware. But my favorite is The Raspberries with Eric Carmen.

Fuck Columbus, keep it local.

I think the Indians front office didn't appreciate Jim Thome enough and let him go too soon.
Bill Laimbeer was a guy that the Cavs didn't know what to do with, and the fans thought he was just another sucky player, but he went on to greatness.
The Browns had a couple defensive tackles, Walter Johnson and Jerry Sherk, that I think don't get the proper remembrance, and for some reason there seems to be some backlash against Josh Cribbs among the fans ... he maybe the greatest special teams player in the history of the NFL.
3. Speaking of the Indians, an ESPN poll ranked the Indians as the 4th best team in major league baseball. Are you buying it?
Ya, I think they overtake the Tigers and Royals and will be in the mix for the WS

More exposure in a market that can be saturated by Bungles fans. Its just training camp, therefore I have no issue with it. Plus, maybe some of the magic of being in a winning city might
rub off on this franchise.

I like the move. More than expanding the fan base in mid-Ohio, I think it getting the team further from home is a good thing.

Jerry Sherk... but for knee injuries, he'd be in the HOF. A great DT and IMO our best ever.

Yes... team has been quietly building for years now. Bullpen strength is great and Tito's boy knows how to use it.

NHL Barons - 1or 2 years? probably no interest in hockey after the Crusaders? the Barons merged with Mn Northstars in 79 and gave Mn some much needed help.

I have two favorite Musicians who inspired Me as a kid and still to this day.. Cliff Norton and Mike McGill.. Two of the best guitar players My ears ever heard!
Cliff also happens to be My best friend.
