I get where dumb shit was trying to go. Groups like ISIS won't have as many recruits if there are more opportunities for work and education in these shit heel countries was her angle.

You can kill ISIS, but you can't kill an idea. So long as Sharia law is a reality in the Middle East, there are going to be people who buy into it enough to blow themselves up in a crowd of Americans. Saudi Arabia is one of our biggest allies over there (thanks oil), yet fingerprints of their brand of Islam, Wahhabism, are all over the Islamic State.
