I skimmed it. To me it sounded like the ranting of a young man who has been let down by his girlfriend or wife. Someone whose life isn't satisfying for whatever reason and wants to blame the world of consumerism or something for his unhappiness. It didn't blow my mind but it did blow. When he said it was sent from a friend I was skeptical since if his real personality is anywhere near as assholeish as his online personality I can't imagine him having any.

Maybe it's a plea for a amateur online psychoanalysis. Just like the semi literate bragging and hateful ramblin, but I've never met the guy. Playing an obnoxious asshole on the Internet appeals to some people I suppose but I don't get it.

The first thing that struck me is how this is written from such a male-centric viewpoint on life, that men are the sole reason that women and children can exist and if a woman doesn't have a man she has no hope of looking after herself, or that if a woman does get married she'll immediately quit her job and start popping out babies. It's extremely arrogantly (and badly) written and wholly offensive to women.

Apart from that, the concept that society is constructed to 'placate' men is just asinine. The idea that money was invented by 'the man' to keep everyone down is just wrong. Calling each generation of parents more 'feminized' than the previous implies that women, as described by someone recently, are a 'lesser cut of meat' which again is just wrong.

The whole thing just screams of a mid-20s chauvinist that struggles to hold down a relationship or a job and has less experience of the world than a hermit crab.

I guess I didn't take it that seriously but I do agree with your last paragraph. Right or wrong good or bad doesn't really exist in nature, only in society. I do think that in nature men and women have different roles to play. Human beings also have the intellect to question them but not to change them. Mankind does not establish society, society establishes itself. There is no group of ants who decide where the tunnels go they just go. I would suppose every generation going back to verbal communication has bitched about the previous and the following generation. The man has always been there. That means the man in quotations not the male.

The idea that there is a small group masterminding and controlling the world is just silly.

But most likely it's just a kid that got dumped, fired or both. Probably for being an asshole.

My first question is why would you complain about not being able to marry these chicks if you are insinuating these chicks aren't worth marrying? If its just about getting laid why get married? Why have kids? The author sounds like a needy bitch.

Second, who doesn't buy shit that someone else would consider stupid? Thats a subjective premise.

Third, what portion of society is looking down on you for not having a family? Your grandma? I've never heard anyone in my lifetime talk down on someone solely for not having a family or family values, except for the types of people a single guy would NEVER be around anyway? Who Cares?
