I kind of laughed at the end where he goes "take care of her" and the guy says real sincere-like "death to america"

Kind of humorous, if you take it as a spoof. That is what this is/was. Whether it passed or not depends on your view of what might, or might not, be funny. The, "It's only ISIS" comment was a direct shot at Obama's "JV Team" comment. Maybe those on the left were offended.
If the Left and the Right are offended, it must have had some merit.
Provocative? Yes. Anything more than an attempt at 'black comedy"? No.
We all laughed at Hogan's Heros, right? Those Nazi's weren't all that nice either. But we laughed.
Bottom line: nothing to get worked up about either way.
