Rex Ryan would naturally be interested former coach....same deal as him being in on Pettine.

He's edging 30 years old, and wants 40 million guaranteed. What makes you think he'll play to his potential (and more importantly, his will-be huge contract) during the latter years?

Awesome, we're overpaying for a guy who will surely make us the best secondary; however, we just wasted money on our biggest strength, and overlooked our weaknesses.

FWIW, I'm a fan of Revis'. But I love the Browns more, and having two CBs eating a chunk of our salary cap smells trouble.

If they are serious about really shoring up the defense this year, a signing like this would go a long way towards validating that.

Revis's deal is 5yrs/$70M but at its core is 3yrs/$48M ($16M/yr) with $39M fully guaranteed source says. Wow.

The Bucaneers invested a ton of money in Revis in 2013 and look where it got them. Picking behind the Browns. Revis is past his prime. I'm glad the Browns aren't that stupid. The Jets are always willing to spend just ask Buster Skrine, Eric Decker, Mike Vick, Santonio Holmes, Kellen Winslow, Braylon Edwards, Chris Johnson..........
