Sammy Watkins trade

This trade looks even worse for the Bills than it did last year. They have added Murray (McCoy even) and a big FB plus a QB that clearly wonβt be asked to do much but manage the position.

I'll take Sammy Watkins over Justin Gilbert and any WR in this draft in a heartbeat.

You need a solid WR to keep defenses honest. Watkins season was overshadowed by Beckham and Benjamin but if you look at his numbers (982 yards and 6 TD) it was a great season for a rookie WR.

I don't know why, but I think Gilbert will be a damn good player this year. Hearing about him working out with Haden tells me he got the message last year, so I would bet (if we could somehow quantify CB and WR production) that Gilbert + the Browns #1 WR FAR OUTPRODUCE Watkins in 2015... just a hunch...

Our record doesn't indicate that every team is light years ahead of us. There was legitimate improvement with this team for the first time in a long time and when this got tough, nobody quit on the coaching staff or the team. I'm not a glass half full guy, but there have been some good things around this team since Pettine took over.
