BREAKING: CAMERON SIGNS WITH ... Miami

LogicIsForSquares

Marlon Moore can earn his money and make sure to remind Cameron where he parked.

It's a 2 year - 15 mil deal(7.5 & 7.5)....but thats all I know.....

Hey, I agree it's probably too much $$$ for him, based upon the injuries and stuff.....but....

1) we have the money.....why not risk it on a known commodity that could pay off

2) Clay was the only other option and "maybe" we weren't gonna get him.....

So, why not?......at least we only "mildly" overspent and it was on our own guy......(not like it was 100 mil)

I guess my main issue is in 4 years he's never played a full season, he's concussion prone and has a bum shoulder.

They had to do something. Doubt it the movebthey originally wanted but more of plan b

calfoxwc

The pressure will be off him with Hartline, and maybe another wr,

and a draft pick to come on board. Safeties won't be able to just tee off on Cameron

this coming season.

Good signing. He fits. The Browns aren't done.... I think.

LondonBrown

Good news, rookie tight ends seem to always struggle ? Important part of our offense re-signed.

I might still like to see Nick O'Leary here. Or Jesse James. Or William Bonney.

Opal312

Glad to see a player wanting to stay! And someone on this board today stated the Dolphins were out of money. This is a very good omen. And the Browns should draft a tight end in later rounds if they can.

Mudfly

William Bonnie???......You mean ........the Kid??

And Opal...interesting you mention that cause when I said it I was thinking we were in a bidding war with Miami for Clay and speculated that $7 mil would be the number that they couldn't beat....

And we know they were talking to Cameron......and now he's our for 7.5 m....

So looks like we had the right dollar figure but the wrong guy in that equation....

Now...will it be Buffalo who out bids Miami for Clay?.....could it be another $7 m TE is about to slip thru their fingers?

Browns_Fucking_Rule

I'm not even sure how I feel about this? Cam might have been the FA that I was most prepared to let walk.

ColumbusKing

I would've loved to push it to a 3 year 15 mil, shrink that $$ per year to only 5 mil but oh well

let's trade him and the #12 pick to the Eagles for Murray, I'm sure Chip will accept it! Lol

Canton Mike

I was one who stated we shouldn't pay big bucks to Cameron or Bradford due to their injury histories.

At 2 years, we didn't put ourselves in "Cap Hell" & I'm fine with keeping Cameron assuming good health. He is productive when healthy, so let's see what happens.

As I said before, I'm having fun watching this plan unfold.

Now if they could just get rid of the negative media!

Interesting development with TE Jordan Cameron. I still don't know why the #Browns didn't tag him (franchise or transition) to begin with

The fact that Jordan Cameron’s deal with the #Browns wasn’t done yet was first reported by @CharlesRobinson. Well, it was. But now it’s not

Just when I think there is a glimmer of hope, its just another kick in the dong and berries. Can't wait to hear the explanation on this one.

WalterWhite

Now, as @CharlesRobinson reported, it appears Cameron is working toward a deal with the Dolphins. Stay tuned.

WalterWhite

This organization is fucking insane but fun to watch. It's a disaster.

ConnerLangford

Ugh.

Source confirms Dolphins are "making progress" with TE Jordan Cameron. Deal likely would result in removal of tag from TE Charles Clay.

Frank Gore. Jordan Cameron. Both showing us it’s not done until something is signed.
