Randy Lerner selling his soccer team Aston Villa.....wait could it beeeeee ?

I'm fairly certain this is bullshit but it's blowing up my twitter feed, can someone please explain how one "trades" franchises?

Would this mean we could get The Titans #2 overall pick?

League source on LaCanfora report re: future potential ownership swap of #Titans #Browns "not true...should be ignored"

Tim Couch Pulls Out

Haslam trades ownership with the Titans. As part of the deal, he takes Manziel and we take their second overall pick.

Browns get Mariota, get rid of Manziel and get rid of Haslam in one fell swoop. We keep Pettine, we keep Farmer, we keep the entire coaching staff and front office, we get rid of an owner who's probably too meddlesome and we get a nice, northeastern Ohio owner (I don't know who).

^This would be a perfect scenario.

It's not without history of it happening. Didn't the Rams and Colts swap owners way back when before the Colts bolted for Indy?

A #browns spokesman said "there is no truth to the careless speculation from the reporter" (regarding report that Haslam might want Titans)

#Browns say report of possible trade of franchises w #Titans: 100% false. No truth to the careless speculation of 'the reporter. '
