Urban Meyer High Praise To Pettine And Browns
-
Just another reason I believe the Browns are going in the right direction. This is a real nice compliment from Urban Meyer.

Pettine is the jewel in our crown

Pett had a chance to get a year in and correct things they may have felt got screwed up last year. Good to hear this stuff.

I LIKED PETTINE WHEN THEY SIGNED HIM,. I LIKE HOW HE HANDLES INTERVIEWS AND HOW HE SEEMS TO RUN THE TEAM IN HIS IMAGE. IF IT WASNT FOR A MEDLING GM WHO KNOWS HOW FAR THAT WAS GOING. BUT COULDNTHAVE BEEN HELPING PETTINE LAST YEAR AS A ROOKIE HEAD COACH.
I LIKE THE DIRECTION AND ATTITUDE HE IS TAKING THE TEAM.

Was this an April Fool's joke?

I was going to say...a college coach giving his approval of the job an NFL coach is doing made me chuckle.
Maybe subconsciously Urban compares the browns to a college team.

or....if you actually take the time to read it......you'll see that Urban is simply comparing the information requested by the Browns coaches to what he gets requested from other NFL coaches....
Reading is always a good thing.....
