I would assume its going to get appealed down. 3 games is pretty steep for a first offense. Thankfully we signed deangelo Williams.

i want to know how leggarett blount only got one game? i thought he was a multiple offender? didn't he get popped when he was with the steelers?

Dri Archer gonna get some playing time as well I guess.

As for steep, Joe Haden got 4 games for adderall, didn't he, for a first offence? Bell got 3, which includes the now-automatic one game for DUI. Not sure where the other two come from when Blount only got one, though.

No, this suspension is for the violation last season. Blount was with bell but wasn't driving. Im also not sure why bell got three and blount got one. Blount should have at least grabbed two. Either way I expect it to be appealed down at least a game.

Yea archer should get some playing time but I doubt he gets more than 10 carries a game. I expect to see him lined up at wr a lot.

True, I expect williams to get the lion's share in Bell's absence, and going forward for williams to get a lot of garbage time touches.

Agreed. I loved the signing. He's a high character guy with experience and I believe he has some gas in the tank. The time share in Carolina was just weird. I'm curious to see what Stewart does with Williams now a steeler. I also agree on garbage time, although I expect him to give more of a spell than blount did but who knows. Bell is one of the few three down backs in the league.

All I know is the draft needs to get here already. The wait is always so damn brutal. Im just glad it's not in may again.

Yes Bell is one of the few great three-down backs but he was second in the league in the percentage of his offense's plays that he was in the game for. Which was cool because you knew what you had in Blount so you didn't need to be giving him reps.

But once he was gone they should have had a better backup in place. I do believe they lost that playoff game due to Ben Tate's newness but maybe I'm wrong.

Absolutely, not having a competent back up prepared to carry the load was a big deal. Thankfully they went out and signed Williams and we still have Archer and Harris. The ravens didn't have to worry about the run and it showed.

I wanted the browns to sign Williams. If he can stay healthy for the most part, he'll have a solid season no doubt.

Well at least one of ours was smart enough to just go check himself into rehab rather than play it out until caught with a DUI or something.
