I see grammar smack mainly on football forums...the main offenders that bring out the police... "you're confused with "your", "noone" for "no one" (wow,this board auto-corrects that!), "loose" instead of "lose", "roll" instead of "role", "mute point" instead of "moot point", "there" instead of "their" and "to" instead of "too".
The only time I will use grammar smack is when the offender composes a post full of it while calling others ignorant.
I will however good heartedly correct anyone that says "for all intensive purposes" instead of "for all intents and purposes".
Then when you combine bad grammar with bad punctuation......Ive read long and drawn out posts with no periods or commas talking about how the bengals will sweep the division and win the north if everyone is healthy especially Dalton and Green noone can stop them if they are in sync because their team players and know there roll the bengals can't loose if that happens and the browns sucking again is a mute point Marvin will take us to the promised land wait and see and the browns never was in a super bowl and never will with johnny midget

Grammar nazis exist in every corner of the internet, regardless of political or sporting inclination. They're annoying and contribute nothing. I know, I was once one, until I realised the idiocy of it all. Now, it annoys me but unless I can understand what's being said I don't bother commenting.
