    I thought about taking Danny Shelton at 12 but Mariota was still available and I couldn't pass the opportunity up to fortify our chances at QB. Best case scenario one of them(Manziel or Mariota) rises to the challenge and we can trade the other off or keep to develop in case of injury for a backup. But, I could just as easily picked Shelton and went Defensive Beastmode.

    Yeah, we'd lose a first rounder next year but I think it would be worth it. Joe Thomas won't last forever and Scherff could fill that spot in the future... but for now he'd go RT/RG and bump Schwartz inside to rotate with Greco with would be a huge victory in itself. I think I got a low score because I reached 'slightly' but I got the players that I wanted, but more importantly I got the players that we needed.

  • Schreff wouldn't "bump" anyone inside. First off because he'll be routinely exposed in practice, second - Mitch himself won't be a RG because he doesn't have that ability on the interior to get the push.
