  • Dorial Green-Beckham is going to be an amazing Wide Receiver in the NFL. I don't care about the past, all I care about is whether he's learned from the past and what he's going to do from here on out.

    dude. do you like take pleasure in being the kiss of death?

    i wouldn't want anything to do with that guy. once a douche, always a douche.

    just ask josh gordon.

  • Cooper, White and then Parker but since the Browns might draft Parker I'd better say he's the best.

  • Its so close.......Cooper is the 5th rated overall prospect...white is 6th.....(doesnt get closer than that, if yer askin me).......

    I read a quote that said something to the effect of :....White has the highest ceiling and Cooper has the highest floor. Making Cooper the safer pick who's less likely to bust and White the riskier pick who's more likely to explode.......

    just a roll of the dice......

    Here are their pre-draft player scores and a few from last year too....

    Watkins = 7.31

    Cooper = 7.13

    White = 6.95

    Evans = 6.42

    Beckham= 6.16...

    So, Watkins would have been rated #1 in this class too......and Odell Beckham would be 5th(and by a ways).....

    And we all know that Watkins was billed as "once in a decade" (still could live up to it too)....but where would you pick him now, with this group???....curious.......for me, it would be 5th......

  • White vs. Cooper is picking between Julio Jones or Dez Bryant and Antonio Brown. You want a inconsistent spectacularity or week-in, week-out gettin the job done?

  • ...or you could take a player that we actually have a shot to draft, as in DGB. A player that is probably going to be BETTER THAN ALL the players that you just listed... just sayin...

  • Based on what? Even at Missouri he wasn't better than them. Separate yourself from the man crush.

  • Really?

    Well...like I said earlier....Im not trying to convince anyone White is "better"....just honestly answering the OP's question about who I thought was more suitable for the Browns....and considering they are almost equal talents, I felt the one who added a new dimension or added mismatch opportunity would be best...

    Rather than ask would I rather have Dez or Brown(it's dez btw)......apply it to the Browns...then ask "would I rather have Dez AND Antonio Brown or just 2 Antonio Browns........Id take the combo....(and so would the Steelers considering they just added 6-4" Bryant)

    So, better player or not(and I can accept Cooper as #1), I think White adds a new dimension to our team that Cooper doesnt.....While Cooper Improves what we already have, he still leaves us without that big target.....so....no huge debate on who's best....just a perspective on the type of WR the Browns "may" want......and there are "types" and different styles that just add more opportunities for mismatches and the like.....and Pettine loves that shit...

    It'll never happen......

    Comparing 2013 Beckham to 2014 Cooper and White, yes.

    Mudfly, my bad, I was speaking in general, not just for the Browns. I'd probably take White too for our squad. And I'd take Dez for our squad, but I wouldn't take Dez over Antonio in general, but that's just me. The Cowboys have the superior OL, TE, running game (not necessarily RB), and #2 WR, and not much of a drop off at QB, yet Bryant got shut down in some games due to double teams. Why hasn't Brown had that problem? The Steelers are certainly a bit more of a wide open offense, but I don't know if that alone explains it. I definitely don't see Dez producing the same if he were in AB's place while I do see AB doing what Dez does statistically if he were in Dallas.

  • I hear ya....

    And Im usually very fair minded......but not with Brown or the steelers.....sorry....so Id rather have anybody(ha!)

    Plus....I dont like 5'-8" receivers....unless their names are Hawkins and Gabriel....😉

  • To me Kevin White has the greater upside but Cooper is the safer pick.....it is a case of whether I would go with the possible upside ......

  • Do you disagree with this?

  • Josh Gordon 2.0

  • Quit proclaiming Josh Gordon, Josh Gordon... that is totally offensive. The only commonality that they share is weed. That would also include most of Americas youth in that statement. Josh Gordon has been blacklisted by the NFL and the media and it's sickening. I'm not going to get into a debate about Gordon, I think his situation is heartbreaking and disgusting to say the least.

    However, Dorial Green-Beckham is NOT Josh Gordon and they share nothing other than the fact that they are both amazingly talented Wide Receivers and both should be on the Cleveland Browns.

  • DGB doesn't have the ball-carrying vision Josh Gordon does. He's also not as explosive and agile. He's bigger though.

    So, no.

  • Browns met with Breshad Perriman in Florida yesterday. One trick pony who runs really fast in a straight line. Heyward Bay 2.0.........

  • kevin white IMO will be the best WR from this draft when graded 5 years from now. (but then again i'm terrible when it comes to picking WRs,,,,,note J. Blackmon).

    here's a real question, if the browns stay pat at 12 and the QBs are gone and you have kevin white and danny shelton sitting there, who do you pick?

    I RUN to pick Shelton.....

    There are lots of other good/very good WR's to pick later....but there are no more Danny Shelton type DT/NTs....

    Shelton, no question.

  • Shelton, no question. There are a lot of other receivers who could

    do a great job for the Browns, and I'm a big White fan.

    There is only one NT like Shelton.
