The biggest surprise is Goldman. I thought the general opinion was he was a first rounder,

but I did see one mock with him going at the end of round one, and at

the top five of round two.

    Wierd.

  • Gregory would surprise me, if he fell that far....but the others, not so much....

Waynes has been my #3-4 CB all along, so Im not surprised to see him falling....though Im thinking he'll go in the 1st for sure...

Goldman, Gordon & Collins have been on the 1st round / 2nd round ledge all along......

Flowers?.....dont know a lot about him, so have no strong opinion either way.....

  • Ross Tucker hates Flowers too

    Then send him candy....

  • Of the 12 OTs in the draft that I evaluated, I have Flowers at 8.

Big difference between falling out of Round one and being crowded out...

The author picks on Jalen Collins who rose from a 4th rounder to be a first round pick and is now giving back some of his rise. Then extrapolates Gregory's fall out of the top three and five as a basis for falling out of Rnd 1. And finishes with a player who has been solidly above the 20's since day one, but plays a low-valued position.

By contrast Lambert had the balls to select real falls, if they happen.

Both overlooked falls that have already happened... McKinney, Ogbuehi, PJ Williams.

  • Ogbuehi is back to the first round though. Seems to have replaced Clemmings.

After the tape I've watched on Goldman, I'd be surprised IF he's a 1st round pick.

add Funchess too.....started as #2 WR aways back and has now dropped to somewhere near 9th or 10th.......

In some drafts, yes, Ogbuehi has made a run as of late and the drop off to the next OT is now behind him. But in the aggregate he is still a Rnd 2 guy and behind both Clemmings and Fisher.

Here are the top nine with their FRX Index from Play the Draft:

    Brandon Scherff Iowa OT 8.9

    La'el Collins LSU OT 16.4

    Ereck Flowers Miami OT 17.1

    Andrus Peat Stanford OT 19.5

    DJ Humphries Florida OT 28.4

    TJ Clemmings Pittsburgh OT 32.5

    Jake Fisher Oregon OT 33.6

Cedric Ogbuehi Texas A&M OT 38.2

Donovan Smith Penn State OT 64.7

Yep...he's climbing this past week....up from about 50....

Fisher seems to be the one who has climbed the farthest, without any fall back......

  • Still like Flowers. He has a Edge and can get Nasty with the Best. Think its something we need..
