  • If the right players are there, they stay, or if they can trade down,

    the player(s) they wanted are gone, they will.

    There's gonna be a whole lotta shakin goin on with this draft.

    Ha! The cost for Williams would be far great than that. At least 12 and 19 plus 3 & a 4 is more likely. This guy is a franchise changer and the only one really worth jumping up there to get wherever that might be.

    You're probably right, I was just going off of what others have been saying about the price to move to 5.

    In other words, no matter what the Browns do, everyone will predict that it will be a fuckup....and chances are good they will be right.

    All I want to know is your opinion on this one topic. Do you predict the Browns will trade one or both of their first round picks or stand pat and draft players at 12 and 19?

    No pimping or berating any players, just a single answer. Trade or keep?

    I believe they will (at least try to) trade both #1 picks plus, in order to draft Mariota (sp)

    This - after doing something similar last season to draft the untried and unproven JF.

    I don't believe they should chase every "Franchise" QB every year. Clearly, the DO NOT exist every year.

    I would use the picks for areas of need and continue to develop and evaluate JF.

    Chasing QBs would be like going to the Casino, IMHO

  • so many ways this could go....BUT, I say we dont trade the 2 firsts for any single player....though we may trade one or the other to move around a bit....

    And, I predict, if we move "up"....it will be for a defensive player and not a QB.....

  • Not predicting, but hoping they take Shelton at 12 & trade #19 down a few spots for Cam Erving.

  • I also predict that no matter what happens or who we pick.....1/2 of the fans will be pissed and 1/2 of the fans will be pleased....

    ...and 1/2 of the pundits will hate it and the other 1/2 will love it......

    So in summary....this year.... Farmer will fuck it up AND do a fantastic job.....all at the same time.....

    But like any good GM, if Shelton and top 3 receivers are gone already, might trade down with #12 as well. Now that Collins is in free-fall, that is a very real possibility. Cowgirls might really want to deal to get one of the 2 top RB's because McFadden is not the answer.

    BUT if they had to trade a couple of later round picks to jump in front of the GMEN (who would be the last team thru to us that might take shelton) then do it.

  • Pick 12-- We trade up to Guarantee us Shelton before 7 Bears and 9 Giants.. 6 Jets our are Bitch after losing Mariota to Kelley (Football Gods) Pick 19-- It's all about going up again to get Pass Rusher pending on Who and numbers left at Pass Rusher.. Yes to S. Ray..

  • Browns trade #12 and #19 to eagles for Brandford, 2nd rounder, and next years 1st rounder.

    Eagles trade #12, #19, #20 to Titans and take MM.

    Browns either:

    A. move back into the 1st with the mid round picks and select OL, DL, WR, or RB.

    or

    B. Take OL to protect Bradford better and DL in the 2nd Round.

    If the Eagles end up with Marcus M. the Browns will not be picking at #12 or #19!
