Thug: A violent criminal
The PC police are now saying the use of the word thug is racist. The incompetent mayor of Baltimore who initially called those who were rioting, looting and burning down homes and businesses as thugs has apologized and she will refer to them now as misguided young people. I guess Obama hasn't gotten the memo yet because he referred to those who who were looting stores and throwing rocks at the police in Baltimore as thugs.
I put this here because I didn't want to start a new thread but it goes along with liberal Michael Moore and his crazy ideas.

he is a whack job but his sentiments about non violent incarceration are not far off. We don't need to be locking up people for simple drug use and/or dealing. I mean you draw the line at crack and heroin yes, but stuff like weed...which makes up an inordinant amount of convictions, is getting ridiculous. Take distribution out of the hands of the black market, gangs/mafia etc....than you take the violence out of drugs. You also undercut the south American cartels.

While distribution is still illegal, those caught for personal possession and use are dealt with in a court made up of psychologists and social workers. Instead of locking kids away for a spliff, addicts are referred to clinics. Since these moves, drug addiction has dropped 50% and drug use in Portugal is among the lowest in Europe.

The thing is, he's often right about a lot of things....but then goes that extra 5 yds to the left and shitcans the message. And that's why I can't stand him. Perfect example here....ease up on nonviolent offenders, but he goes 2 yds to the left and say's let's let em all out...TODAY!! The last time anybody gave a fuck about Michael Moore was when he made the movie about Bush. And it got every bit the same pub that Obama's America got. The difference was that Moore's movie actually presented more factual evidence while Obama's America was based almost in entirety on pulling stuff from Obama's book and taking it out of context. Obama hates America and hates Colonialism...as if hating the latter was a bad thing. I bet I know more Indian americans than that actual Indian dude who made the movie knows...and they all feel the same way about the old empire. It's not "hatred" anymore but they basically share the same opinions about that mindset that Obama expressed in his book.
Not a big fan of Obama but if you got something on him make it based on fact and not your "feeling" that he hates America and wants to be our grand nrg overlord like the right makes him out to be everyday.

Hi Nerd. That is a great idea Moore has actually. Back at the turn of the century Police didn't carry guns. They walked the beat and carried a big stick. They kept the peace and were respected. Nowadays with the Rightzingers (like yourself) so scared of their own shadows, they have made most of our police forces scared shitless too. That is why these killings happened because of fear, fear that the right wing conservative queers have instilled in our police departments.
