lol... but shy of the good old days when you threw "pussy hurts" out like they were beads at Mardi Gras...

Meanwhile back at the thread...
Nothing as yet on JM's new roomie... his old, HS coach?
I'd have thought it'd been up early today if not yesterday...
... plus at least one Sandusky joke...

Back to the football story, as I said elsewhere there is still a QB competition and now that has been verified.

Browns website, Ag...
Whole lotta footage of "stuff" with maybe a half dozen shots of JM throwing.
Here's a couple at 1:35, 2:05 marks, but best may be this slo-mo at 2:42 mark. Not exactly throwing from his right ear (or shoulder)... still shows some "rare-back", but no hint of dropping down into a wind-up as he was prone to do last year... something you can see McCown doing in the side-by-sides.
There were a couple more shots in another clip or two, not sure which ones.

Gotta say Ive heard more than once that he's really throwing the ball with great velocity.....sounds like the mechanics are pretty good and they are more focused(right now) on the field vision and on-field decision making....tho I think he's understandably pressing a bit and will smooth out over the next month or so....
Here's a little blurb from a write up on Taylor Gabriel.....
The most impressive play during the OTA happened during a two-on-two, wide receiver vs. defensive back drill. K’Waun Williams was glued to Gabriel for 20 yards down the field until he cut his post route toward the sideline, where he gave himself a few inches of separation. Manziel fired a rocket pass into the outstretched arms of Gabriel, drawing oohs and ahhs from the media in attendance
Who doesn't like "rocket passes" that draw oohs and ahhs...???

I don't think there was really ever a question of his arm strength or being able to throw it with velocity. It's his decision making that will continue to be questioned until he proves the Cincy game was a mistake.

Tour where did you find the OTA footage?
Tour where did you find the OTA footage?
It looks like this one is a compilation of JFF from the OTA videos....nothing ground breaking, but lots of shots of him throwing here

^^ Interesting to watch McCown beat Johnny on all 3 releases by 1/4 - 1/2 second. Good video.

Maybe I'm looking at the wrong video, but I Manziel beating McCown?
