wood be the greatest podium walker in our history.

He's a much better choice than Jebadiah Bush or the idiots from Texas.
If the republicans want to win back the White House they need to nominate someon who is not a dumbass (Bush, Cruz, Perry), perhaps Rand Paul or Donald Trump.
-
Rand Paul or Donald Trump?
WHAT?
not dumbasses, but jackasses?
nah.
-
-
funny how Rand has irritated the far righties.
-
-
I am kind of pulling for Trump now. If American politics are going to be a complete joke then they may as well be a funny one.
-
Trump is not the answer but I do believe someone with real life business experience and business ownership would be a great asset for any president. Too many only know economic theory from a classroom but have no real world business experience.
-
Trump is a smart man, but Herbert Hoover was a smart man. If you look at Herbert Hoover's life prior to presidential politics you might think that he was, if not the smartest then at least in the top three for intelligence of U.S. Presidents. It doesn't always translate.
-
Trump is a "smart" businessman just as mobsters are "savvy" entrepreneurs. He's just a market shark no more no less. Yes, you can make a lot of money in this country skating the ethics line, doesn't make you the kind of smart people want to run the U.S.A
-
Too bad intelligence doesn't directly relate to income.
Well, it probably does correlate some

I'm sure the Donald and the Don have mutual interests

His is a specialized brain. Yes he's figured out our bizarre version of capitalism and through much corruption and gladhanding on his part throughout the years he established himself. In our current system such established entities are very difficult to unseat...which is a problem with our system because the winners these days are not always the best the market has to offer...they're just the most connected.
-
Ehhh, connections help a ton, obviously, but Trump obviously isn't an idiot
-
The guy is certainly hated by people but I wonder, besides his clown like persona, which platforms actually offend you guys? I'm talking about the actual platforms not the paraphrases from the Huffington Post etc.

I know he supports an assault weapon (liberal speak, assault weapons are full auto and require so many hoops that only extremely wealthy people can afford it) ban. Or at least he did when he put it in one of his books in the early 2000s.

It is too easy just to blame Mexico for our mistakes like Trump is doing. Nobody forced us to sign NAFTA and there has been nothing to prevent us from building a border fence.
-
We don't have the money the country is bankrupt from fucking around internationally.
