Yep. Lions are killed all the time. This one made news special because of the way it was killed...by being lured off a preservation, but that was secondary outrage.

The fact that a lion was killed period is what got the panties of namby-pamby Americans liberals up in knots.

  • Tanzania is apparently grossly overestimating their lion population. Gee I wonder why....could be profit motive eh? "Real" estimates have them at 7000 or less....nowhere near the 16k they claim. Which even 16K...FFS there used to at least 3 tmes that in that area just 2-3 decades ago.

And we are now turning to Africa to illustrate a culture rich in consistent political honesty and ecological temperance. For our next trick we are going to use the Japanese as the standard for how we treat marine life.

  • Thailand has an abundance of 12 year olds, I'm sure that could turn the economy around.

exactly. I'll trust the people that freakin see these lions every day and have studied them for decades over some corrupt zulu cunt who says nah we got plenty of lions come pay us to hunt them. Take them off our hands there's so many!!

I find it interesting that it was so easy to lure noble cecil off his protected pasture. Aren't lions notoriously lazy preferring to sit around making the females do all the hunting?

I think the worst part of all this is now scar is in charge and we all know he's in league with the hyenas so now unless pumba and Timone are able to successfully navigate simba through the jungle and the sea of dentists waiting there the pride lands are fucked.

  • Robot Lives Matter

Where is the outrage over the murder of this poor robot? He made it hitchiking through Europe and Canada but only lasted a few hundered miles in the United States when he was beheaded in Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love.

That is the case though. Not 'too many' per sé, think of it more as an investment. With the money from legal hunting they can do a better job protecting the remaining lions than otherwise, and hopefully get breeding pairs on the rise.

I understand the logic and you'd think that would be alright. But facts on the ground are that it ain't helpin. It's also an incredibly sad commentary about the state of the human soul collectively that we have to acquiesce to the lowest amongst us to save the animals that god put here. It won't work. In the long run these animals are gone. Two generations from now they're gone from the wild. Hell elephants we may see vanish in our lifetime cause 2 Billion little cocksucking rice eating fgts think the tusks make lovely dining room ornamentation.

  • Does anyone know if the rifle used to kill Cecil the Lion was banned yet?

I mean I know the Dentist was falsely accused of being the reason behind the death of this majestic cat, but we all know that's not how this illegal hunting stuff is gonna be corrected.
