Read this before you get your panties all bunched up over the f-35. It's not a dogfighting jet. The F-22 is. *******************************

Read it, cleve. And stop the silly jawflappy.

  • We still have F18s, & F22s that outfly anything Putin can put in the sky.

    The F18s, F22s,

    along with the A-10's, F-16's, B-1's, B52s , C130 gunships, mothballed F14s & 15s I think we're good.

  • What else does Alex Jones have to say on the matter?

Let me know when you quit worrying about 20th century "dogfights", Iceman.

Is it 20th century dogfights i'm worrying about, or is it the staggering cost of these pieces of shit? Did that not register with you there goose?

Link fail but I digress, I love how all of you wail and moan over what you consider to be govt over spending....but 1T for a cool looking piece of shit that is going to get a vodka colonic "when",cause it's only a matter of time, the soviets/Chinese figure out how to see it. The soviets and Chinese develop something that can see it and guide in air support into visual range....bye bye 35. That pilot might as well start scanning the ground for a nice soft spot to punch out over...cause he's toast.

Lemme give you all a little flying FYI...there were generally two ways to build planes. High angle of attack planes and high energy planes. The F-14 is a great example of an energy fighter....although with it's wings out it actually became a pretty good AOA fighter. But it could hang with the smaller Migs cause if it got in a bad situation the pilot put it vertical and powered out of the engagement...got altitude, nosed it over and could come down for another shot. That was an awesome plane.

If you're not high angle of attack plane, like an F-16 that can turn on a dime...than you'd better have the juice. Russian 5th gen planes are pretty much going to do both "VERY" well. Seeing that link that chris posted that shows how far behind even the Eurofighter that piggy is, I'm like why did we spend 1T on this shitbox? "NOW" they're trying to reinvent the thing as "oh it's not a dogfighter it goes in there on day one to take out the SAM sites". That was "not" it's original intent. You clowns know that the F-22 program was cut off because they said why continue making this thing, which was certainly better than the 35 but still lagging behind the rooskies, when we'll just make shit tons of these new 35's that we'll spread out to all the services. And because money, not reason and logic, dominate our society...nobody could snip this thing off years ago and say this thing is too expensive and it's an embarassement.

Don't just call yourself "conservative", actually be conservative. Did I just blow your minds? Does the thought of having congruent thoughts and ideas across the spectrum terrify some of you? No one that calls themselves "conservative" should be anything but sputtering with rage what the American taxpayer has been saddles with. Try channeling some of that Obummercare angst.

The original link I provided in my post works fine. I just checked it.

  • it's all cals fault.

  • and I read that link yesterday anyway. The assertion that the 22 is the dogfighter, while logical, doesn't explain why they drastically cut down the purchase numbers for that plane too. The 35 was billed as the F-22+. The whole reason they gave for stopping short on the 22 was that the 35 was as or even more capable and could be used by all service's..whereas the 22 is only air force.

  • Because they don't fucking dogfight anymore you stupid drunk.

    1) I don't drink "at all"

    2) I guess you didn't take the time nor the intellectual effort to view the links I posted to the last time the U.S military said "we don't need to dogfight anymore". Are you afraid you'll pull something if you actually have to do some kind of intellectual labor you lazy fuck?

  • Go on and educate yourself what happened to the phantoms in Vietnam against shitty little migs when those migs managed to get inside their missiles. It's pure arrogance with a side of abject gross incompetence to yet again build a jet that like that. And, for the umpteenth time in this thread.....it's costing us one fucking trillion dollars. Sorry legacy, for that money the thing should move like a flying fucking saucer. It's flight patterns should look like a fucking Tron cycle in the sky. Dafuq is wrong with you dude? Why is this so hard for you? We're paying 1T dollars for a stealth plane that is ONE technological advancement away from being obsoleted. Know why the F-16's are still around even though they couldn't sneak through a 4th world countries radar net? CAUSE THAT NGR CAN FLY son.

was use your right mouse button.

How many different planes are you going to talk about, to ignore

that you don't have a clue about the F-35 and lost your argument?

We've been through this before - when you say "at all" here it just makes you sound like you drink all the time. You don't drink *at all*

  • #QuotesForEmphasis

  • "I don't have a problem with drinking. I've quit a thousand times"

The quotes are meant to emphasize that I intake zero alcohol...how would someone construe those quotes as to me saying I drink all the time?

How have I lost my argument when I've provided now multiple links to articles that say it's a flying Shiite box? AND I've provided a link to articles about the last time the U.S military decided that dogfighting was antiquated, with disastrous loss of life kind of consequences.

So in Britain quotes are used facetiously? lols. Here in the U.S quotes aren't usually meant to convey duplicity, friends episode not withstanding.

  • Imagine it's something like: 'there's no way that so called "president" is worthy of the name'

or: 'yeah, I like granola muffins "loads"'
