Hit on Desir Actionable?

[The Gipper]

Regarding that hit to Pierre Desir....does anyone else feel like I do that that should be a fineable, suspendable action?

Think about it.....it was a blindside helmet to helmet hit on an undefensible player. Had Desir hit that WR like that he would have been tossed and suspended probably.

That was a blindside cheap shot hit that would have made Hines Ward proud in my opinion.

Anyone got video of that?

I was shocked it wasn't called.

Expect a fine - that was bad.

Tatum not in PFHOF.....and I do believe it is because he has been blackballed essentially.....for doing what DBs back then were taught to do. yes, its different now....but it was what it was back then.

Surprised the Vag et al didn't pick up on this and defend their blindside cheapshot artiste, aren't you?

[sisky fringo]

nothing to defend, they all love it. they know exactly who and what both Whines Hard and James Headhunting Harrison were, and sadly it's a source of pride.

[pitts]puke fans will be showing youtube highlights of those two suckerpunchers from now until the world breaks.

Could be. Was helmet to helmet, though I can't imagine intentional - Desir just sort of crumpled, clearly dazed.
