and if you knew your "actual" history you'd know that McKinley never once stepped foot on the mountain nor had anything to do with it. Some guy who liked him named the mountain after him, that's it. It was called Denali for centuries. I can understand naming a mountain of someone who discovered it. In any case, Obama's letting oil companies drill in Alaska so this is just a meaningless gesture on his part to a people he potentially royally fucked over if these oil companies maintain the same operating standards they maintain everywhere else.
