First Game in Cleveland
-
Hey guys, my father and I are heading to Cleveland Jan 3 for the Browns vs. Steelers last game of the season. It will be our first time in Cleveland and I was wondering if DSLR cameras are allowed? I read the rules on the website but it isn't specific about what cameras. It says that it can't be a commercial audio or Video recording device. Has anyone on this forum ever brought a DSLR camera to the stadium? I attached a pic of the type of camera I was thinking of bringing. If you guys can help me it would be appreciated. Thank You. Go Browns!!!

zoom will not work due to high winds and good luck having any feeling in your hands or face or...?
better off bringing a facemask....unless you're black. put your hands in the air and wave 'em like you just don't care.

I don't think you would catch any flak for that. That said good luck.

I would think the problem would be if you carried it in a large camera case. See below, maybe that will help ...
NFL Bag Policy NFL Institutes Revised Security Measures for 2013To provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite fan entry into stadiums, the Cleveland Browns will implement an NFL policy this year that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into stadiums. - Bag that is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and does not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” (Official NFL team logo clear plastic tote bags are available through club merchandise outlets or at nflshop.com)
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
- Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bag options
- No larger than 4.5” X 6.5”
Fans with medically necessary items can proceed to any of the Suite Entries
Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, seat cushions, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.
