    Who and why?

Based upon his run of college picks I think I'd prefer Kirk Herbstreit's 10-yo's(?) color commentary...

  • Is there any way to get a more accurate look at that map, or to see it by county? I live in Trumbull county, just north of Youngstown, and it looks like they're going to put the Steelers on... that never happens here, so it has me nervous... I'll have to make other plans if that's the case...

  • People in Columbus should squawk because they are getting Bengals vs. Ravens, rather than Browns/Raiders.

Does not generally Columbus get Browns games?

Is it the division rivalry that is the attraction?

(could be...as if Bengals win....they dash Ratbird hopes for a decent season

....as much as I don't care about the Bengals, that would be a sweet deal, no?

Check your local CBS affiliate's website...

Since Dom Tiberi (Sports Analyst) took over about 7 years or so ago, and he's a Bengals fan, they are playing more Bengals games. But you are correct, we used to get a lot more Browns games.

Who and what did this guy take over? Station manager of the local CBS affiliate....or is he just some on air personality? Do the local affiliates have the say so over what games are to be aired on their station......or is that a CBS national decision? I doubt that some on air guy would have control over that.

I suspect that it comes down to which game they think would pull the best ratings. If the opposite were true, if the Browns were playing the Ravens and the Bengals playing the Raiders, I suspect they would probably show the Browns game. I think interdivisional rivalries will get precedence over a non division game.

  • fuggin ny blows. giants played thurs night which would free up a spot but of course the flippin jets are here too.

guess it's drop another hunny at the bar.
