    NO

The entire league had a crack at him and so far no one has bothered. I don't think he us a "can't miss" prospect.

I also don't think anyone has called him that.

You are acting as if it was a travesty that the Browns cut bait while every other team has had about the same take.

  • Pryor is a receiver? First I'd heard that....

If only speed and size were the only attributes required to play receiver....

True. I've said many times if track speed was the only criteria, Reynaldo Nehemiah would be in the HOF. Held the world record in 110 hurdles and ran a 4.1 forty, or something like that. Was on the 49ers roster for a couple of years. However, we don't know yet what Pryor can do. Unlike Reynaldo, he at least has a football background. MHO is he has more potential than some of the wasted roster spots we currently have on the Browns.

On the college level, we're seeing the transformation from qb to wr is happening quite successfully at Ohio State- Braxton Miller wised up to the reality he had zero chance of making it as a qb in the NFL.

  • Mr. Stretch the D Rob Housler has played 8 whole snaps and had only one target(missed).....meaning they dont want to play him OR he cant get open....sooooooo.....

Time to move on....activate and play Bibbs.....and, yes, even though he hasnt shown anything, Id try Pryor again(over Housler)....

Could it be that Farmer placed some limits to his temporary GM?.....and Housler wasn't on the list....?

  • I'd be more interested in RG3 as a WR than Pryor at this point.

    And his hands were suspect.

Thank God we didn't need a 6'5", 240 lb. receiver who runs a 4.2...because we have Dwayne Bowe.

Well, if he would have even been able to run at all without repeatedly tweaking his hammy he would have probably survived the last cuts here. It's nice he can run a 4.2 forty now that there's no tomorrow.

  • Right.....and now the Jets have passed on him too.....along with the Browns, Seahawks and Patriots...

So there are 2 teams(Browns and Jets) with losing records, a huge need for WR's and offensive weapons, yet they passed....

And 2 GREAT teams(Hawks and Pats) who could probably afford to take on a "high ceiling" project yet they passed too.....

So...I gotta start to believe that all the talk about his greatness was just premature exaggeration....

  • I hear Joey Galloway just ran a 4.3 40.....at the age of 43.

I wouldn't say the Jets have a huge need for WR's, considering as they may have the most talented corps in the East.

But yes...it does make you wonder how terrible he might be at catching.

  • I`ve lost count how many teams have looked at TP and not signed him. He is a great athlete….but football player he is not
