I'm not a huge fan of grits but gravy syrup and or butter make them a bit more palatable. Kind of like cream of wheat.

We've got lots of kinds of gravy however. Rich brown gravy is one of my favorites, and sausage gravy. And turkey gravy at Thanksgiving.

I think that lesson is taught by the two political parties and as much as I like to believe this board is more important we probably have nothing to do with that.

Bob Evans has great sausage gravy... it's easy to make.

Brown the sausage really well, smaller pieces, drain well,

add about eh... a heaping table spoon or two of

flour, mix in really well til it's all aborbed by the sausage,

and a bunch of whole milk, salt pepper....

Way too much Sysco Food product -esque stuff there. Certainly not the worst ever but plenty of mom & pop diners that are much better and probably won't kill you after eating there 2-3 times.

I have a hard time seeing how the dems are going to win. Hillary is sunk already and, malcontents aside, you're going to have a real hard time getting middle America to vote for a communist.

The candidates on both sides seem terrible.

But I'm not sure you win with a platform that disagrees with majority views on a handful of social issues. I guess it will depend on how conservative the Rep candidate goes.

Also, someone could still join on the Dem side.
