    Correct

Also, no team has ever been able to figure out how good a player is in practice

I hope Haslam guarantees Pettine and Farmer another year. Allow them leeway to do what they need to with regard to quarterbacks and everything else.

If they keep up with these awful, lazy, sloppy, uninspiring performances the only way Mike Pettine and Farmer will see the inside of the Hall of Fame is on a guided fucking tour

Putting in Johnny at this point of the season would only be rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

    Interesting screen name...

Does it mean your next post will be the truth?

Or my post is the truth?

Or D's post was the truth?

Any which way it just sounded cool at the time. I'll get my profile up to par when I have time.

For starters... and although I've never been to the HOF, if that's part of the price of admission, then I don't think I ever will see it.

This is the dumbest thread reply ever.

Johnny of this year and last are 2 totally different people

He is? He's still drinking and still finding a way to get in the news for things other than football. Seems like the same moron to me.

How many times have you dated a dumbass? How many times have you had a beer?

I'm not an NFL quarterback. How about how many times is Peyton Manning, or Tom Brady or Tony Romo or Aaron Rodgers or basically pick any NFL starting QB, how many times are they in the news for the stupid shit that Johnny dipshit is??

    Sorry, Mark...

Off field, I can't equate the recent incident with swan diving despite JM's having had "a couple drinks" which does trouble me.

On field, there's no comparison between this and last year. This year he's looked prepared. His mechanics are tighter. His game discipline is greater... more in the mold of what a defensive-minded HC would want.

Where I split with the "play him now" crowd is that while JM is readier, readier does not mean ready.

I can respect that. I'd still like to see him stay out of the news.

  • good call walter

  • Of course it's a good call.....this team is going nowhere as is. A good first qtr doesn't change that. What am I supposed to do celebrate for going 6-10 instead of 5-11?

  • I can never understand this thinking that for some unknown, incorrect, reason the coaches are holding Johnny back. At some point, Mike Pettine's job security will solely be determined by how many football games his team wins. Why in the world would he leave the quarterback best able to win the football game on the bench? And at what point, in any season, should you 'look to the future' to determine who is playing on Sunday? That would completely contradict the idea that the best players play.

Care to look up Manning's college indiscretions?

Hey no common sense in here.

  • Yeah... holding Johnny back...

    Needed that laugh.

This ain't college anymore chachi...and that argument doesn't really help you any. How about all of Johnny's college indiscretions? The difference is one of these two is one of the best QB's of all time. The other so far is an unproven clown who can't stay out of the news for doing stupid shit off the field.

^ All of that is good, but the best part is chachi
