How about banning "Gun Free Zones" ! Criminals don't obey laws or they wouldn't be criminals. And they target Gun Free Zones with the confidence of knowing no one will stop them. Yesterday, a woman was saved by a private citizen who had a license to carry when a man tried to carjack her with two small children inside the car. That man is a hero!

It was a joke. The West was in an expansive phase and wasn't made up of cities with hundreds of thousands of people. But to think that individual detente is the answer to violence is about as spot on as liberating and installing democracy.
