Shake up in detroit

Hey....at least we're not Detroit.
-
Must be somethin' in the air this year.....
Out of 32 NFL Teams:
4 are 7-0
3 are 4-3
4 are 4-4
That leaves 21 Teams with LOSING records. Many surprises.
Methinks the unemployment line will grow.

Yep and that will leave a lot of good coaches and co-ordinators available...
-
I look at Detroit with Stafford, Johnson, Tate, Ebron, Abdullah, Ansah, etc. and see some talent that is just underperforming. I don't see Manziel, Benjamin, Gabriel, Barnidge, Johnson, Shelton as the same talent wise.

We just need one to be our D-coordinator.

That has been the case in Detroit for a little while now.

Well, let Suh and Fairley walk- and the defense goes to hell. Surprised? Not me.

MAJOR changes in Detroit: Lions have fired GM Martin Mayhew and president Tom Lewand, league sources told ESPN.
I wonder what changes, if any, we'll see in Cleveland through the offseason?

Doubt we'll need to wait til the offseason to see changes.

Think a few of our position coaches may be out at the end of the year.
Probably, but I've seen something like O'Neil is overriding the rotations the position coaches want to do on defense.

Credible, who knows - but our rotations are very questionable.

Since we're on the topic of Detroit, I'd gladly being Jim Schwartz out of retirement to run my defense...

Me too but he doesn't fit the Pettine/Rex Ryan mold - so it would never happen (with Pett. as HC).
O'Neil will probably get replaced with someone like what the bills got - another old jets position coach, like Dennis Thurman.
-
The backs coach must be in trouble, we've seen no second year improvement from Crowell who clearly has talent, our running game is a joke.

Shame. That Rexy arrogance should be a lesson learned by his pupils.
