Turbin just looked slow to me, not counting the other issues like fumbles and such.

Apart from one 22-yard run (most likely a product of an O-Line actually opening a hole), that makes 38 yards on 17 carries.

Actually Turbine's 22-yder was one he bounced outside right...

Something was really off his last game... arms were simply wrong in the two fumbled hand-offs. I thought he would be a contributor and eventual starter.

Oh well... looking forward to finally seeing Winston.

Turbin hasn't done anything. Winston is better.

Besides, we need space on the gameday for both Winston and Gaines. If we're going to cut Williams and Haden and Gilbert, we need to see if Gaines is decent.. and, next year, if the IR'd ekpre-olomu will be a player.

Can somebody please tell me what it costs to sign players for a week or two & then cut them? Seems to me that, if nothing else, it makes us look silly.

They don't need Turbin. They have Blount already. They would replace Dion Lewis with more of a quick pass catching threat..

I don't know, they hold up a roster spot for Turbin and wait how many weeks for him to rehab? Then you finally get to see him fumble the ball a couple of times, and then he gets cut. Did someone, anyone not do their homework on this guy before they claimed him off waivers? This is just another example of Farmer and his scouting dept flying by the seat of their pants.

Pro-rate their salary which in most cases is league minimum... $435k. Turbine's rate was $660k.

Add incidentals like travel, uni, physical... maybe $4k???
