Stay patient and the ticket prices will go even lower. My guess is you can grab 500 level for $12 on gameday. My worry is can the NFL flex that game? I know they have the ability to do that in the later weeks but I dont know when it starts. 2-8 Baltimore vs. 2-8 Cle is not exactly what the NFL wants on primetime.

Monday night games cannot be flexed. Only the Sunday night games can be changed.

Good call, was just reading about it on the NFL's site

  • Watch it be a 45-53 game. Im definately betting the over.

Fairly safe bet. Neither defense is any good, so good chance we'll see quite a few points put up by both teams.

  • Good, maybe this will turn on the lightbulb that fans aren't putting up with this crap anymore. I've said it before that as of today you couldn't pay me to go see a live game.

Yep, Monday Prime Time game......and while apparently it is a sellout, the secondary market gobbles up a lot of those tickets, and they are not sold you have a ton of no shows. It would be embarassing to the owner to see the one game they have on prime time be a half empty stadium.

Guess what happens when you have a half empty stadium......you do not sell nearly as many overpriced watered down beers, and over priced food etc. etc. You lose a lot of revenue. Which you deserve to lose. That money would have paid for one of your lousy FA choices (see Dwayne Bowe). Now you have to take that money out of your pocket perhaps.

I mean, fuck......do you want to become Art Modell? (yea, I know....never happen due to his successful outside business)

  • I can't help but wonder what the "bump" will be with announcing that JM will be the starter.

  • I'm going to this game...anyone planning to tailgate?

I think Baltimore is leading the league in players on IR, 17. Just think where the Browns would be if we had lost that many. I re-watched the first Ravens game- we easily could have lost.

PS- just checked StubHub. Ticket prices starting at $11. You can get El Primo 50 yard line lower deck seats for under $90. Looks like the stadium is going to be a ghost town.

I'll be in town. PM me- maybe we can hook up. 🙂

  • I'll be there.

Couldn't give my tickets away for the Card's game

And now the SF game will be the same

  • Easy for me to talk from a few thousand miles away, but the stadium should be completely empty for the Ravens game with all supporters tailgating outside during the game.

It' s the only possible way left to the fans to show how fed up we are with this situation.

  • No one wants to go?..

there's a shocker!!!...shame on ESPN for even thinking about giving the Browns a prime-time game...I guess they figured maybe, just maybe they can stay competitive until Thanksgiving...little do they know, that us Browns fans know their season is usually KAPUT by Halloween....they should have checked wit this board before they made the Monday Night schedule.....

any bets on when the Browns play every game next year and beyond?...Sunday's 1pm.....plan accordingly..

I don't think ESPN had much of a say in the schedule. They will for sure like that Manziel is playing though..

  • I'd like to go to the game, actually. I had a good time at the Cardinals game for a few reasons: firstly, I have zero expectations of this team, regardless of how bad the opponent may be. Furthermore, getting pirate-drunk in the muni lot is always a good time.

I'd at least like to tailgate, but if I can find cheap enough tickets/ talk someone else into going, I'll attend the game as well.

  • Tickets currently going as cheap as $13.20 on Stubhub. Nosebleeds but still amazing you can go to an NFL game at that price.

  • I have 2 seats in section 149 row 27, and no one will give me anywhere near what they cost. Not even 1/3

  • I'd go if I still lived there. We're going to win on National TV! If we can't beat Matt Shaub then we stink.

ESPN hits an all-time ratings low, as America hits the snooze button.

Dunno, they will probably get goodratings just from people that want to see JFF.

And the JFF ship has now sailed, nobody will be at FE Stadium and no one will be watching.

I think you meant ship, but tickets? They'll be giving them away pretty soon.

Got a new job for Johnny- selling beer at one of the concession stands. Perk is all the beer you can drink while you're working.
